My Next Attempt

The extraction of the characters is ok, but could be better. The background composition needs a lot of work - first of all, don't ever combine anime and real-life photography unless you can make it blend with the anime's style well. Second, if I'm not mistaken, the ship is from the TV series Andromeda, which has nothing to do with the anime. Third, the yellow glow on everything feels rather odd and probably shouldn't be used.

LOL I guess there is no rule says a bg object has to taken from the anime itself, it's not a official wall for advertise, so as long as it fits the theme, i think t works.
the extraction looks great for me when I can not tell it's white edges or outer glow effect 0_0 anyway, I guess you need to find some cooler fonts for the text part. Old fashion handwriting doesn't fit a SF theme anime and the whole paper.

Thank you for your advice, delacour. I changed the text and also repair the character's jagged edge that i try to cover with glow as iindigo suggest. I also removed the cloud from my wall.
I not yet find suitable replacement for the spaceship, so i think i will use it after all. But if anyone have good idea to replace it, i will consider it.
In the end, i don't know it become better or not, so please give me more suggestion.

Okay, I know that since you think "Oh its a space picture it needs to have glows on it" the outerglow effects on the moon and the spacecraft are very wrong. Think. When you shine a light on an object one side will be illuminated and one side will not and there will be a subtle gradient change as well. Really a miraculous event and a key to all pictures.LIGHT. I say remove the outerglows. and bring in your own lightsource If you are using adobe photoshop you can go to Filter>Render>lighting effects and create a light source there. You NEED to find where you want the light to come from first. I also suggesst getting an eraser and setting it on...10-20% and smooth out your edges on the spacecraft and maybe small parts on the characters. because right now there are very hard cut edges. Also your earth picture, isnt the best you could probly find I suggest scanning an image from a magazine opposed to finding on the internet but if you do find on the internet make sure the filesize is large enough and the porportions is already large. Thats all for now, good job on the starfield tho, wonderful character extraction and nice idea.

Thanks slaka. I now know where my mistakes. For that reason i totally changed the bg. What i changed is :
1. I changed earth and moon picture and put some lighting effect on it.
2. Created light source, a star
3. Remove the spaceship as iindigo first suggest.
4. Clean the character image and reove the glow

Okay, thats what i changed. I hope it get better than first.
And, like always, any comments is accepted.
