Well, the wall is really a scan i just cleaned and edited a little bit.

Misaki is a shemale on the scan as you see, but that i have fixed on the wall, and the sky is completely cleaned.


Is there anything more i can do?

Yes I think you should do more than that because they deleted a wall that was too similar to the scan used.hatesyou said that cleaning a scan is not enough to make a wall,look here:

Looks good! The only things that bug me about this paper are a few areas that couple be a little cleaner on the scan, and that the contrast between the characters and the environment is a little too high. Also, I don't get how Misaki looks like a shemale... she looks pretty darn female to me o_O

I saw that wall, but all he had done was that he just removed a little bit of text in the lower left corner and just cleaned it with filters.. this scan was covered in text, almost.

I will do more but just got my tv back so it's some hours of anime now:P

I think one should be considered as a re-cg, large areas are covered by text, and he did really respectable job on re-drawing these parts. keeping it like original is even harder than creating your own sometime.

Like AbyGail said, it's more likely a picture you will upload to scan category, but it may really depends on how much work you did. I even saw some clean out work get featured. lol If I was you, i may just add some sunshine and submit it anyway, you lose nothing when you get reject or deleted (only some papers you earn for your submission)

If you really want to avoid this problem, my suggestion is to add more your design elements to it (ex. a frame to it? make it like a photo from pile of other photos taken from summer vacation? or sth like that)

I thought about adding some sunshine, but then i have to re-shade the characters since the light is coming from the front. And the pictureframe suggestion is to much used, so i will go with something more regular. The blue and white color is to much of so i will perhaps zoom it out and add a beach or something like that.

Just add something extra but don't make it look crowded,add something to help it get distinguished from the scan you used and it's going to be ok.
