Yes, I spend way too much time online. I spend everyday of the week excluding Saturdays for friends and
special events. I stay up until the sun rises. Even if the boards I frequent aren't busy I still stay on. There seems to always be something I need to do.
Do you find that you stay on-line longer than you intended? If so, why?

I suppose I just procrastinate. "Well yeah, It's seven in the morning, I'm having trouble keeping my eyes open, and I'm hungry as hell, but if I go to sleep now it will be hours until I can log on again. And the fridge is all
the way downstairs.."

Do you neglect household chores to spend more time on-line?

Not really, as I don't make too much of a mess. Dishes are washed by the dishwasher, so I only have to put them away, and laundry isn't too big of a deal. I hang virtually all my clothing to avoid folding. Vacuum every couple of weeks and clean up after neko.

Yes, my mom used to bug me a lot about how I live on this thing. She told me how she was going to open some clinic for computer-attics.

I don't use e mail too often. Only for newsletters and activation e mails. The occasional letter from a friend or family member. I don't really worry about e mail.

If I've been deprived of it all day or something without anything to do, or if I'm just stuck on xbox live, then yes, I get very anxious. Kind of pitiful really.

I think it would be. I mean so much media is on the internet. It's quite a large part of culture. If I didn't have internet I don't know what I would do. There would be so much less communication, no webpages. No animepaper. Horrid.

It depends. If I'm working with something critical then yes. If someone is annoying me with inferior crap about things I don't care about yes. If I'm PMSing yes. Otherwise I'm pretty tolerable.

More than you can imagine. My record is fifty two hours online- no sleep.

If it's a video/audio chat with a friend then I prefer it rather than phone. If I don't have audio for the person I'd rather be on the phone. It all depends the media being transferred between me and whoever I'm talking to. Someone can't send me a video over the phone. But I can't listen to someone in a text based chat.

Depends on how I feel/what we're doing.

I know how to read a good book, go to the seachore to take good pictures or swin with my wife, or go visit friends / parents for days in a row without contact with a PC, and I find that these moments are actually filled with things to do - I mean, I'm most often bored in the internet looking for something to do in the internet then when I'm offline.

Yes and no. Nowadays, even colleges require students to get their material from the internet. However, the dependant use of the internet can be considered a form of addiction. Pretty much, you have to take your pick upon the perspective of the ever changing world we live in.

Yes, the internet has information that would attract me or cause me to look more in-depth. The phrase "curiosity kills the cat" works best, especially towards students because they lose sleep or time on their studies.

-yes, it all depends with the speed at which i'm surfing the internet. if i were surfing at a modem speeds, i'd be very frustrated that my internet provider can't have dsl in my area. but if i were surfing at super fast speeds, i'd be on the internet and then done after a few minutes.
