This wallpaper gives us a perfect example of how a simple manga scan can be turned into a beautiful vector. Not only did danalm trace the lineart, but he also added amazing details and a simple, yet wonderful background. Furthermore, the wallpaper shows us how the monochromatic style can make your work look really interesting.

Do you consider yourself an Internet addict? Why?
Not really, I wouldnt concider the amount of time I spend online adiction, most of the time its spent talking to friends over instant messanging programs aswell..

Do you find that you stay on-line longer than you intended? If so, why?
Only if I have homework ^^, I tend to do many things other than do my homework...

Do you neglect household chores to spend more time on-line?
I cant stand my house to be dirty.. gotta clean, although I hate it

Do others in your life complain to you about the time you spend on-line? If so, what do they tell you?
Not that I know of

Do you check your email before something else that you need to do?
hrm, sometimes.. depends on whether theres enough time before that other thing I must do, and what that other thing is

How often do you find yourself anticipating when you will go on-line again?
Only when I have someone I really want to talk to that day.. not sure how often that is

Do you fear that life without Internet would be boring, empty and joyless? Why?
I wouldnt think so.. I suppose with out internet I would just waiste my time on some other thing..

Do you yell or act annoyed if someone bothers you while you're online?
haven't done that, at least that I remember

Do you lose sleep due to late night log-ins?
Uhm, depends if im talking to a friend (erhm I talk to people I konw in rl, im not really into the whole chatting with strangers thing) and the conversation gets interesting

What do you prefer, telephone calls or on-line chatting? If the latter, why?
uhm I prefer online chatting because its cheaper >.<, and in my house it tends to be more private.. keeps my mom from listening in hehe

Do you prefer being on-line rather than going out with others?
Id allways rather go out with my friends, than go online

Have you ever given out excuses for staying on-line longer? If so, give one or two examples.
hrm, dont recall ever doing that

Do being on-line for long sessions give you muscular problems? If so, which ones?
erhm not really

Have you ever tried to cut down the online time and failed?
nope, never thought I spent too much time online

Give an example of your worst experience ever due to the Internet.
uhm.. well I suppose my worst experience would be getting technical help from some people at a forum only to be told things like "hahaha your a noob"

Hope thats of use to you

Do you consider yourself an Internet addict? Why?
Yeah, I do because .. I'm sitting here all day.

Do you find that you stay on-line longer than you intended? If so, why?
Well I always intend on sitting here all day and that's pretty much what I do.

Do you neglect household chores to spend more time on-line?
Sometimes. I usually just suck it up and get the chores done as quick as possible though.

Do others in your life complain to you about the time you spend on-line? If so, what do they tell you?
My mom complains, that's about it. She just tells me that I'm always sitting here all day.

Do you check your email before something else that you need to do?
I check my email when I get on. A couple of times while I'm on.

How often do you find yourself anticipating when you will go on-line again?
Everyday while dozing off in school. More anticipating getting home and sleeping, really.

Do you fear that life without Internet would be boring, empty and joyless? Why?
Nah, I think if the internet didn't existed, we'd be wasting our time doing something else right now. Same thing as if the internet was taken away. We'd all suck it up and do something else.

Do you yell or act annoyed if someone bothers you while you're online?
Depends who and for what. If they're being stupid and bothering me for something stupid, then yes. I get annoyed.

Do you lose sleep due to late night log-ins?
Yep.

What do you prefer, telephone calls or on-line chatting? If the latter, why?
Online chatting > telephone calls. It's easier to multitask with online chatting or just sticking up an away message without making up some retarded excuse.

Do you prefer being on-line rather than going out with others?
I'd rather go out with others, but after too much I think a nice night just sitting here all night would be nice.

Have you ever given out excuses for staying on-line longer? If so, give one or two examples.
Um.. I'm doing my homework?

Do being on-line for long sessions give you muscular problems? If so, which ones?
Erm, nope. I've always been weak and fat.

Have you ever tried to cut down the online time and failed?
Um.. I don't think I've ever tried to cut it down because I've never needed to.

Give an example of your worst experience ever due to the Internet.
Um.. Seeing Tubgirl for the first time. *blech*

Do you consider yourself an Internet addict? Why?
Yep, I consider myself one coz' I find it hard to get out of my computer chair once I'm seated on it.

Do you find that you stay on-line longer than you intended? If so, why?
Nah, not really. I don't really chat w/ other people that much.

Do you neglect household chores to spend more time on-line?
I define household chores as spending time on my computer.

Do others in your life complain to you about the time you spend on-line? If so, what do they tell you?
Nope, and if they did, I don't really care.

Do you check your email before something else that you need to do?
Of course!! You'll never know if someone updated their fanfiction.

How often do you find yourself anticipating when you will go on-line again?
I never bother to know it.

Do you fear that life without Internet would be boring, empty and joyless? Why?
Yep, I'm afraid that I'll be spending the rest of my life doing homework *shudders at thought*

Do you yell or act annoyed if someone bothers you while you're online?
Of course, but if it's about food, then I'll gladly go.

Do you lose sleep due to late night log-ins?
My mother's goona yell REALLY loud if I don't go to sleep early, so no.

What do you prefer, telephone calls or on-line chatting? If the latter, why?
Depends on my mood.

Do you prefer being on-line rather than going out with others?
Same as the answer above.

Have you ever given out excuses for staying on-line longer? If so, give one or two examples.
I say something like "Ma, my computerized project needs to be passed tomorrow!" even thought the due date's a week away.

Do being on-line for long sessions give you muscular problems? If so, which ones?
Nope, it just makes me tired.

Have you ever tried to cut down the online time and failed?
Nope, I tried it once and it never failed.

Give an example of your worst experience ever due to the Internet.
I was chatting at some guy who had a cam when he asked me "Do you want to see me ma******** (PM me if you don't understand)??" I never chatted for two months after that.

Do you find that you stay on-line longer than you intended? If so, why?
Yes, because I tend to have so many questions about many things so I keep on researching about random stuff, and thus the digressions.
Do you neglect household chores to spend more time on-line?
Parents don't enforce household chores.
Do others in your life complain to you about the time you spend on-line? If so, what do they tell you?
Only my parents--they tell me to study. My friends don't complain because if I'm online, then we get to chat online.
Do you check your email before something else that you need to do?
I check my e-mail whenever I turn on my computer (well, my computer's on 24/7, but whenever I come back) and check every two hours or so afterwards.
How often do you find yourself anticipating when you will go on-line again?
Whenever I have a topic in mind that I want to search about.
Do you fear that life without Internet would be boring, empty and joyless? Why?
In some ways, because I feel like I have greater access to resources compared to the real world. Also, because there are so many individuals connected online everytime, it's easier to get in touch with a person than in real life, where I have to search around for a person who doesn't look so scary, suspicious, etc. etc.
Do you yell or act annoyed if someone bothers you while you're online?
No. I think it's rude to ignore someone so I tend to listen to them.
Do you lose sleep due to late night log-ins?
A lot of the times, yes.
What do you prefer, telephone calls or on-line chatting? If the latter, why?
Online chatting. I feel that it's easier to express my thoughts by writing/typing than talking; however, it's harder to express the intended "tone" of what I'm trying to say. Nevertheless, smilies and asterisked actions usually comopensates for the absence of the tone. Plus, it's cheaper to chat online than calling via phone.
Do you prefer being on-line rather than going out with others?
Although I prefer chatting online over calling, it's definitely more fun to meet my friends and chat.
Have you ever given out excuses for staying on-line longer? If so, give one or two examples.
Yes, saying that I must find out what _____ is and the only way I can find out is by searching online.
Do being on-line for long sessions give you muscular problems? If so, which ones?
No.
Have you ever tried to cut down the online time and failed?
Actually, I've been pretty good about spending less time on the computer these days. I always think to myself, "there's no useful things you get out of browsing the internet--in the end, it's always the same result."
Give an example of your worst experience ever due to the Internet.
... Procrastinating a huge paper for history and because of that, not going to class the next day. (I'm still a student so that's the worst it can get. heh)

I'll keep it short, I'm a realist and dang I know I'm addicted to internet like cocaine, I neglect chores, my drawings school whatever, I just do enough of that stuff to get by.

Personally is very hard, since I use the pc to also listen to music, read books and fanfics and other great stuff, and internet is right there next to the winamp icon, so yeah I'm pretty screwed.

Sure thing. I don't see why I can't help out. Besides, I think that it'd be interesting to see what other people's opinions are as well^-^

Do you consider yourself an Internet addict? Why?
I don't think that I'm addicted to the internet, but I do enjoy using it alot.

Do you find that you stay on-line longer than you intended? If so, why?
Yes, I definately do! Just last night I was on msn and kept telling my friend that I had to go, but didn't. I only left 2 hours later>.<

Do you neglect household chores to spend more time on-line?
Nope, I don't have hoursehold chores to do. However, I do my homework... That's an even bigger chore...

Do others in your life complain to you about the time you spend on-line? If so, what do they tell you?
Nope, but if I had more of a life then I wouldn't be online so much. During the holidays when my friends are free I go out every day and rarely go online.

Do you check your email before something else that you need to do?
Yes. Checking my email is the first thing I do everytime I connect to the internet. I'm not sure if it's because my msn logs in automatically and tells me how many emails I have, or because it's my habit.

How often do you find yourself anticipating when you will go on-line again?
When there's something I really want to check out or do research on. Or I've arranged to meet someone online.

Do you fear that life without Internet would be boring, empty and joyless?
Why?

It'd definately be more boring and less convenient... Hmmm yes, I think I do!

Do you yell or act annoyed if someone bothers you while you're online?
I yell and get annoyed any time that someone bothers me... So yes.

Do you lose sleep due to late night log-ins?
Yes I do. But even if I wasn't online I think I'd lose sleep too... Just not as much.

What do you prefer, telephone calls or on-line chatting? If the latter, why?
Online chatting. It's more private, the people around you can't hear what you're chatting about.
You can add emoticons into your conversations to let the other person know how you're feeling. It can be hard to tell how a person is feeling through a telephone call.
You have time to consider the things that are said to you, or think of a reply.
You don't have to give the other person your undivided attention and can do something else while chatting.

Do you prefer being on-line rather than going out with others?
It depends on who I'm going out with, where I'm going, if there's anywhere to actually go to etc.

Have you ever given out excuses for staying on-line longer? If so, give one or two
examples.

Errr not really. I have to research something for school?

Do being on-line for long sessions give you muscular problems? If so, which ones?
Nope, not at all. Fortunately.

Have you ever tried to cut down the online time and failed?
Errr not. I'm perfectly happy with the time I spent online.

Give an example of your worst experience ever due to the Internet.
I met this guy on a site similar to this and started talking to him. We got along pretty well so I added him to my msn contact list. We got to know each other quite well and we were in the same town, so I gave him my cellphone number (actually I didn't, it was just listed on my msn). But we started messaging each other.
After a few months of that, he suddenly told me he liked me. I didn't feel the same and told him so, but he kept bugging me. He started calling me all the time and sending me emails. He also got lots of his friends to add me to their msn for some reason... It got really frustrating and annoying and I just started ignoring him after that>.< It was not pretty...
