Well, its a nice anime and i love it. But it really isn't that scary in my opinion, its just abit...gory i say. Why should we fear the internet? I mean its only an anime, we should only fear those pop-ups with pornographic contents *nods nods*

Fear the internet and computer? Hahahahahahahahah nice joke there! XD who would fear the internet and coms? Is like wat Moomoo said up there. Its just stupid pop-up windows! Jigoku Shoujo is not scary. Like in any chance a hell website got created. Not a chance. Its just full of....umm...how can i explain?

Jigoku Shoujo is an excellent anime that can be pretty creepy and down right depressing at times. The sequel is more or less the same thing though but I like it anyway. As for fearing the computer...well, there's no such thing as an evil website that'll take revenge on people for you but the internet can be dangerous in the sense that there are a lot of psycho people out there that pretend to be someone that they're not. I suggest caution in regards to who you talk to over the internet but other than that the internet is just a useful and fun tool. ^^

It gets really good in the later episodes though, and the internet is just a way to let the hell girl know that someone needs her help... not really dangerous lol

At first I thought it was a good anime. You know, very knew and innovative. Can't say that I've seen too many animes that end up taking someone to hell. But, as I kept watching episode after episode, I think it got a little monotonous. I mean, all of them basically start off the same way, and end the same way. Some jerk is being mean, some whimp wants to take revenge...and in the end, one goes to hell, and one is promised to hell. It was cool for the first 6 episodes or so, but then you know what's going to happen...Just like in Scooby Doo. No mystery there either.
I only saw a few episodes but I liked the anime. The art was difrent from other anime I saw and the story whas ... unic (?) . But regards of what otheres say, it's not hat scary at all (but in the end, you are talking whit someone how never had a nightmere after seeng a horor movie)
... sometimes only Innocence can save you ...

I really likedJigoku Shoujo must have watched the first season 3 or 4 times now. In particular I liked the wavering line of morality in whether Enma Ai taking people to hell was correct/acceptable/righteous and how Hajime and Tsugumi opinions effect each other and develop. Don’t think it’s as popular as some of the other anime’ out now but I love it was will watch to the end of the second season for sure. Oh and Ai-chan is so cool and cute:)
I really like Jigoku Shoujo's overall concept, but the actual series is a bit too repetitive. You can basically watch maby 7 of the 26 episodes and not miss anything important. ;p
