bye bro! FFVII (The PS3 Edition!!!)
Here We Go! (again, lol) But this time with a kick, the "PS3" is in the stages of re-making a classic this time folks, "FFVII" [Big dramtic clap] will make it's return with a well sought out bang by Sony, they've so far completed in capturing my heart, How about yours? In addition the visuals have improved 10 fold!, and they've stayed right down to the nitty-gritty with the story line. A must have for all (and I mean ALL!) of you "FF" gurus amungst us... But untill then, "X-Box" has me with the massive MMORPG "FFXI" and all of those great things that come along with it, (lol)

Sorry if I sound like an ass, but:
-Weren't those scenes of the "zomg FFVII remake for the PS3" just a tech demo?
-Since when can a REMAKE be a revolution?
Honestly, if Square Enix wants to spend their money, they'd rather do it making brand new games.

(lol) Hey, regardless of what I[u] said It's still undeniably going to a great addition to the already spectacular series (re-make or not) And for future refrence I agree on the whole what they should invest their money on tid-bit of yours. ^_^ Thanks as always and keep 'em comin!

A remake of FF7 isn't in the works... as mentioned above the PS3 footage of FFVII was only a technical demo. Square did similar demos using the FF8 ballroom scene rendered in realtime by the PS2.
The "White" engine used in the demo however is being used for FF 13 and FF Versus 13.

Aww so you mean I've been misdirected then, hmmm? Oh well all is well that ends well, thank the both of you for clearing that one up, (Although I'll stick to my guns and say that it Would be a heck of a game ^_^)
Yeah...I think they were going to but then they changed their mind or soemthing...same for Advetn Children. they were going to make a game based on it but then they decided aaginst it (which was a good idea since they wouldn't make much...). What they are making is Vincents Story into the game (which a lot of people already has heard about ^_^)
Like someone above me said, the FFVII scene on the PS3 was just a tech demo, not a game trailer.
There're several FFVII spin-offs in the works already, so if you're that FFVII heavy, those should keep you busy, lol

I think they should just leave FFVII and give some of their other old games a spruce, or maybe just work on continuing the series and making new games, getting new fans.
I'm not sure if that would be the right way to go making a new FF maybe its just time to let it rest don't get me wrong i love the FF series but i just didn't really enjoy the 10th one, maybe a lot of other people did but i sure didn't, since i consider FFVII the best out of them all a vincent story will definetly be on my shopping list :)

sorry, those are tech demos. although, its posssible that there may be a remake in the future.
its the most succesful out of all ff, and without a doubt they would milk ff7. like they did with all those sequels and prequels.
in the mean time, ff13 is going to be made for the ps3. 3 ff13 games to be infact.
2 for the ps3 and one for the mobile.
Just so there's absolutely no confusion, the team that did the tech demo are making FF13 so even IF they did want to make a PS3 version of FF7 it would probably be a long ways off.

Actually in the latest EGM issue with Link on the cover along with the Wii the issue mention that FF7 will be out for PS3. I don't know if thats in the egm i read but yeah.
