Go ahead, tell me your thoughts... I want to know who you thought was the coolest main charecter in a game! Even if I haven't played the game lol, I still want to know. My top 3 are as follows:

3.) Leon- Resident Evil 4; why you ask. This guy was rightious lol, I loved the gameplay and I found it to be one of the most time consuming and fun first person shooters available (next to Halo :P). The whole camara veiw being revamped was a major bounus. And I just LOVE shooting zombies!

2.) Ryu- Street Fighter; now when I say 2-D fighter the first game that should pop in your head would be Street Fighter (or Mortal Kombat lol). In any case though, if I had to decide between either I'm a S.F. kinda guy. I belive this game put most fighting games to the point that they're at in their current state. And Ryu stands to be one of the coolest fighters in this franchise.

1.) Solid Snake- Metal Gear Solid; this should be another no brainer. I can't help but love the gameplay from the older N.E.S. versions to the P.S.2s'. This game should be marked as a turning point in all espionage, stealth, type gaming. And Snake is just a bad mother *shut yo' mouth!* (lol)

So go ahead let me know who rank as the some of the top main charecters in video games today.

Arthas - WarCraft 3
Why? Fallen paladin. What can be cooler? Nothing.

Dark Samus (Metroid Prime)
What can I say. A person in a bionic suit enhanced with an alien life form. That and in general its my favourite looking armor.

How can you not include Link from Zelda? =] And Mario from Mario Bros.

My favorite is Kain from Blood Omen etc. I think the white hair and the fact that he´s just really mean makes him damn cool. But it´s sad that in the Soul Reaver games he looks so green and ugly. I prefered him before.

Other favorites would be Illidan from Warcraft because of the cool wings and Cloud from Final Fantasy 7 because of the cool sword (damn i wish i had a sword like that ô.o)

I´m a big fan of the Zelda games, but actually i think link is a very boring and ugly character^^ because he looks a bit like Robin Hood or something

KOS-MOS - Xenosaga
She's an android capable of wiping out an entire alien race, and is loaded with hundred's of weapon's. You can't go wrong there.

Cloud - FF7
Should this even be explained? He has a badass sword, and beat the greatest villain to ever grace the title in a videogame. Plus, he has a cool outfit.

My favorite is Kos-Mos from Xenosaga. She is the best!!!! Also, Regal from Tales of Symphonia is super cool.

Link - Legend of Zelda
he is my favorite character, he is a great swordman, archer, barbarian, bomber,ladiesman and now a fearsome wolf.

Adol - YS
he is a great warrior and ladiesman just like Link and YS is very similar to legend of Zelda too

Samus - Metroid
a space bounty hunter who wears a bionic armor with new upgrades in each game

Kosmos - Xenosaga
she is my favorite female character, she is a battle android that is stronger than any human or realian, I am hoping that somehow they fix her for what happens to her in the xenosaga 3 ending.

Cloud and Sephiroth - Final Fantasy 7
both ex-soldier, have big swords, hate each other and both have a twist in their past.

Vincent - FF7 Dirge of Cerberus
an ex-turk, the best gunner ever known who was a victim of an experiment to control Chaos.

Issac - Golden Sun
an Earth Adepth and his power is superior to the other Adepts

Ahaha! Duuude master cheif from halo is freakin awesome!!

And ryu hayabusa from ninja gaiden is saweeeeet also!

Who else... vincent valentine from his game (frgt the name)

and ya thats about it, though theres like a ton of awesome main characters out there!

Masaki Andou in Shin Masou Kishin , i dont know if ya guys know this game but cool one :)

I'd say Yuri from Shadow Hearts. I would also include Fei from Xenogears as well as Lavitz from Legend of Dragoon.

Cloud from FF7 is great. Of course his rival Sephiroth, will also be the best villains ever.

Following up, Vincent in his Dirge of Cerberus. Now that was heck of a shooting game, and he kicks ass there.

Anyone agree with, Agent 47 - Hitman series, as a great main characters? He's cool, and he acts like nothing happened when he kills his target.
