Eternal Sonata

Anyone play this? I just started it, and think it is, simply, amazing. I have requested a section for some wallpapers, but I'm going to go see what I can find elsewhere. The game, really, is amazing. The art style, the battle system, the camera angles; I have yet to find a flaw for any of them. The music is top notch too. Going to try and find the OST.
Had the PS3 version, so got the additional maps, costume customization and the option to play Princess Serenade and Prince Crescendo as active characters till the end of story. Anyway, not too shabby. Chain combos are fun but when you hit level 6 on your Harmony Chain, the moving commands tend to be a bit annoying since you'd be more focus on the lower portion of the screen (to know which button to press next) rather than on the animation itself.
Some of the bosses were so annoying that I used YouTube to find out how they cleared it (and which character selection to use). But either way, it was fun.

I have played the demo version of this game, and i REALLY Love it! I am so planning on getting this game.
The only question i have about this game is what the replay value of this game is. I mean *sorry but i have to* like most of the final fantasy games, once you've finished it and like one half a year later, you'll play it again, just because its a lot of fun, or that there are lots of sidequests to do etc.
What is your opinion about that? (sorry for my english)

I Play the xbox 360 version of this game, the game was great the picture, the story, and the music, the game system was also great. Play it, you won't regret it.
I love this game. ;3; It's so cool, and I totally fangirled when I heard Johnny's voice. I love how there are snippets of Chopin's life story in there, as well as information on the various pieces he composed.
My favourite character is Allegretto, too. He's awesome.

Yea I love this game. I have finally got it after all this time and it is awsome it is somewhat confusing but it is still worth it. Love the story line and the art is good to.

I own the 360 version. I loved this game. Graphics were amazing and the gameplay was fun. I liked how it got more challenging and the farther you level the battle system, the faster you have to be at responding. Had a good story as well. Too bad the game only took me 24 hours to beat game time. Im thinking of going back and playing it again to unlock some of the hidden features of the game.
It´s so unfair that in the PS3-Version Crescendo and Serenade are playable Characters. In the Xbox-(my-) Version they have only a bit part! e____e

Pretty Decent.
Its an ok game, the storyline isn't that epic or exciting really kinda boring most of it, but Its got nice music and battles and i like the Japanese voices, all in all no replay value imo but its decent first playthrough, The ps3 has the better version since it came out after and contains new characters and a lil extra storyline.

Beautiful game, but my god it's too short, has zero replay value, and the characters are all so one-dimensional.
Gotta love Chopin though.

I thought most of the videos and talking sequences were a little too slow. Lots of walking around silently and then long conversations about the same thing over and over (as expected in a Japanese RPG). But the gameplay and story were both pretty entertaining. By the end of the game the characters were a little too powerful I thought, I don't honestly remember dieing in that game ever, except the first time I fought the pirate boss because I started the battle completely unprepared (low hp on all chars).
I played the PS3 version, probably one of the better games I have ever played. The combat system is awesome. Particularly when you get chains.

I've got the PS3 version. The game's great, but it lacks variety in monsters. It's the same few monsters everywhere you go. The bosses aren't that hard either too, so it's a fairly easy game for beginners, and it does really get you fast paced as you progress through the story.

I also totally Agree with these comments made above.

Though I do not mind its paper like characters as they are detailed and high rez, however Its out of order when either console xbox or Sony get exclusives or addon content when every bloody game should be the same, this is causing a lot of money loss, and flaming Sony and Microsoft are the source of all evil and the cause of why money is evil.
I found the game too easy on xbox and its quite a linear gameplay as well, not worth playing again only once in a lifetime, save your time for something better once you complete it or dry out all other rpg's
