As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. Do have a look at this beautiful wallpaper!

Hello. -.- My mozilla firefox died on me.
One day it was working and then it stopped.
Even til this day (and it's been months now) mozilla firefox can only go to a math site. All the other sites it says ERROR.

I tried reinstalling firefox and it doesnt work. What's more is AP looks cr@ppy on opera. Or is that just a temporary net glitch? I see words being repeated ontop of words. I see people's names and stuff written ontop of their avatars instead of staying to the side like they're supposed to.

Can anyone help me solve either or both problems?

Is the installer file an older version of FF or a fresh copy downloaded off FF's site?

No, now that I think about it. I haven't really scanned my pc fully in some time. If it is a virus, I hope avira is good enough to get rid of it cuz that's the one I have.

The installer file was a fresh copy off the site. However, now that I think about it, I didn't uninstall Firefox first. What I did was click to install the new one and it asked me if I wanted to overwrite the previous firefox on the computer and I said yes. I didn't get rid of the old one because I don't want to lose all my bookmarks. I have a lot of rare bookmarks I need. -__-;

Well 1st thing's first. I'll go with Longbow's idea and make a virus scan. Thanks for the tip.

EDIT: I scanned for viruses and well, it found some and got rid of viruses but it still says Proxy Server Refused Connection on every site I try to go to including this one.

If I get rid of firefox will it delete all my bookmarks?

( []-[])9 emoticon Ok Do You Have The Internet Exploder Cause If Internet Exploder Cant Enter Neither To Any Web Page It Will Mean you Had A Spyware Attack, I Can Advice you To Get Something Better Than Avira Maybe you Can Get your Hands On A Trial Version Of Panda Antivirus Even If Just Use This For One Scan It Will Give you A Free Update If This Doesn't Works or If you Don't Want To Get A New Antivirus, Try To erase The History And Cookies Of you Mozilla Try Again, If That Doesn't Works And you Run Out Of Options Get The Latest Mozilla And you Will Have To Save your. Bookmarks go To Bookmarks On your Menu Bar On The Top Of your, Browser Select The Bookmark Organizer that's The 4 Option Enter There A New Window Will Open It will Say Import Export go there and you will see a option call export has HTML i recommend you to use this one if you want to have aces to your bookmarks on something that its not mozilla cause it makes a HTML page whit your bookmarks links on it the other option call guard or save will save your bookmarks on a JSON extension that is only usable for mozilla and you can't just open it and use your bookmarks has easy.
After backing up your bookmarks just uninstall mozilla install the new version and use this same method for backup but instead of export choose import select the file in which you had your bookmarks and then put ok and that should restore your bookmarks like they were before I hope that this helps you if not just let me know and i will see if i can help you ok Good luck pal.( []-[])9 emoticon

Is your mozilla connected to a proxy? if it is then you might have to change it

Hi :)

Is the problem solved now?
If not, try scanning with some anti-spyware-Tools like this one: http://www.safer-networking.org/en/index.html
The program "Spybot Search&Destroy" is very powerful, but it doesn't replace a good antivirus-software and surfing with care.

If you're searching for free antivirus-software, try Avast Home.

Also check your Firefox-Addons - I recommend to install NoScript and ABP. It can block a lot of bad stuff. And deinstall all unnecessary addons - they may be a security-risk.

And never forget to do backups ;)

Proxy was my first guess too. Post the details of the error message.

Either of them are fine, really, they both have enough products to satisfy almost anybody

but at their highest peak of performance, I think Intel might have the upper hand. but AMD could strike back at any moment too, so, we'll never know

I remember my firefox had errors like this, what I did was wipe the registry for anything related to firefox and then reinstall it as well as wipe application data for anything firefox related:| emoticon

Hmmmm.
I think someones played a prank on you.
Go to C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc and open the file called hosts.

Normally, this file will only have a few lines in it, all starting with a #
Eg:
# For example:
#
# 102.54.94.97 rhino.acme.com # source server
# 38.25.63.10 x.acme.com # x client host

Look at any lines that do not have a # infront of them. These will be telling your computer resolve one ip to a website.
If you have any such lines, back up the hosts file and delete them all. Restart your computer (it may not be necessary, but Windows is a bit funny in that way). And mozilla may work. I say to back it up, as some extra lines are needed for some programs.

If that doesnt help, open internet explorer and make sure there are no proxy settings or the such in it. While your problem is in mozilla, IE does have a tendancy to infect the entire Operating System with its settings.

Also, install this; http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam.php
It is the only antivirus scanner I trust.
Install and run this: http://www.ccleaner.com/

In the case that neither of these work, type the following commands into the command prompt:

ping www.google.com
ping 74.125.45.100
tracert www.google.com

And tell me what the results are.
Hope something here helps!

And in reponse to the problem with AP on Opera:
Different browsers follow different 'rules' for showing websites. Because of this, a website will almost always look different on different browsers, unless it is very well (and luckily) coded.
Thus, with the display problem you are having, nothing can be done about it except for using a different browesr.

You use a proxy to connect to Internet? if don't, that's the answer to your problem: firefox believes you use a proxy, and for that reason you can't connect to any page. Check your proxy settings at Tools/Options/Advanced/Network/Settings... and verify that "no Proxy" option is selected.

If you actually use a proxy, check if proxy settings are right.
