Hi peeps
Basically i need help
ive hit a brick wall and cannot think of a bg design for this wallie
took me a while to extract the lads but now im stumped
added the feathers for a bit of a serene look to the wallie
been sitting here for 2 hours trying to think of a design for it and nothing is coming to mind
any help would be appreciated folks

Well Why Don't You Try Clow Country Background ? Or, Maybe You Can Put Every Country Where They From In Their Back e.g Fye - Celes Country Syaoran - Clow Country Kurogane - Japan. It's Just An Advice Hope You'll Have Some Idea ^^
Scans were extracted very well.. Sorry I dont have any ideas.. @_@ Good luck!

Try removing the glow and using a landscape in the background...a dark, well blended landscape.
I can see two ideas here.
1.) Go with a dark background, like Xenogears suggested. Something scenic like water or the sky maybe. Dark blues and purples would probably work.
2.) Go with the exact opposite - light colors. I could see this working with light blues or silver. Maybe a full moon or something?
Just some ideas...

as im not the best at creating a landscape style bg i was thinking more along the lines of shapes style bg like this

i know its just shapes and different filters and brushes but i like this style
pity it doesnt make it on the wallpaper Gallery section ;)~
at least theres MT where i can show all my work to date

Well if your going for shapes I'd reckon you go for like a stone wall background with engravings. Well pretty get a stock of a stone wall and put some shapes that will become engravings over it and stick em on overlay. Or try some other engraving styles http://www.screaming-art.com/t_engraving.php. Anyway hope this helps.

I probably won't be any help at all...but when I look at it...maybe dragon shapes like those on their jackets coming diagonal from the right corner...maybe in the colour of those on their jackets as well...I don't really know...sorry-Shira good luck though ^^

Nice. But the stones look too much like... stones. >.<; And it looks like they are stroked. Also, I don't really like the green within the blue-green-ish color of the stars. Just take out the green and maybe put some filters or something over the stones to make them match the scan more. Looking nice. ^^

ive taken out the green on the starfield as suggested by Jibril and added trees
finaly put in Sakuras face overlayed it onto the moon

The clouds and mist version is definitely better. But you MUST lose Sakura's face in the moon. It looks tacky and ruins what could be a cool, moody bishie wall. Let the clouds be thicker so the stars don't shine through them and get rid of the white outlining on the guy in black and red. It will lose definition of his arm, but there shouldn't be highlighting there considering your light source is primarily the moonlit sky. Your grass is not dense enough at the bottom - I can see the roots of a lot of the brushes. Speaking of which, the green looks out of place. The variations in hue are good but alter the colour to a bluish desaturated tone, also make the stone wall dark grey-blue instead. It'll fit with the night feel a lot better, at the moment it looks unnaturally saturated what with the characters as well. If you make the trees darker to match the blacks on their clothes it'll help, since they stand out a lot right now. Nice work, just needs a bit of attention to help the realism and pull things together a bit more.

Well have to say, i rly dont like sakras face in the moon, withclouds it looks ok, but sakuras face in the moon ps no ;_;
I think the same without sakuras face but the clouds would really look grate
