Hm...the scan seems to be a little sharp around the edges, maybe you can counter that with a little faint glow around Yuzuriha.
I would also suggest another color for the shadow of the text, black just seems too dark here...try dark red or brown.
And the last thing might sound a bit cheesy. ^^; Or maybe a Clamp picture just doesn't look Clamp-ish without it...but I would suggest tiny glowing dots scattered around. Just use a few featured brushes ranging from size 3 to 7 and dab a few white dots here and there. Don't over do it though.
That's just my 2 cents. :P

The bg is too real for this manga design character. The wall needs depth to it which you dont get from that almost bloody flower brushing... Consider changing the background. She's sitting on a chair. Maybe place her inthe Middle of the wall?

My 2cents for you, I reckon you shouldn't get us to make the design decision for you - as much as this is appealing and a lot of people including myself get tempted to do. It's a skill to pick up for your own growth as an artist to make such decisions on your own. Besides, you are the one sitting on the director seat, we're just sitting on the sidelines giving critics :)
Don't take it as an offence, just want to encourage you to be more confident in your decisions :)
I like the concept and I think you're quite close to getting it right. I don't mind the flower background so much, I think it looks quite nice. The only thing I thought of is that this wall provides the icons space on the right hand side, where I *think* a lot of people including myself would prefer the icons on the left hand side. I'm also somewhat not fond of the font, although the colours for it go well with the rest of the wall.

Personally, I liked it better without the glow. I think maybe you should try toning down the saturation on the character instead. I think part of the inconsistency between the character and background is the sharpness of color versus the lighter, softer shades in the background.

Hm... I really want to see the whole pics... but my college's computer forbidden the "hack" term in the URL. But I can see the thumbnail. From that small piece, what I can say is, there is small piece of black line that I don't recall it good. Overall it is good... though I can't understand much with only thumbnails.

~ at once i tried to do a place wallpaper x__X geck~ its was terrible! First ill try to improve non-place wallies... and then ill really places wallies *not 2 moons ~ a strange world and bla bla bla... x.x~ ill try to do a room, beach~ etc etc T_T~ that why ive said i dont like it ... cuz the first thing that cames to my head and people say 'places wallies' is moons and worlds xD~ but in truth I dont have that skill*
In other forum people said the same thing bout the icons x.x ~ so ive done it *but dont put in here~* cuz when ive a wallpaper like that... i put my icons in the right side *like the font bandit said*

I guess seems okay, but I dunnoe what to think of the inconsistant border around it or issit a frame? Or maybe its just random lines. You got my head spinning, anyway try another backgroound see what pops up. Or maybe just modify your current one, try filter>artist>poster edges default seetings see where that leads you. And if none of those help... try some more backgrounds XD.
