This wallpaper gives us a perfect example of how a simple manga scan can be turned into a beautiful vector. Not only did danalm trace the lineart, but he also added amazing details and a simple, yet wonderful background. Furthermore, the wallpaper shows us how the monochromatic style can make your work look really interesting.

i'm wondering whether i should make it a bit more contrasted, maybe bring the colours out a bit more, i personally like the eyes because i managed to capture the right emotion in them... well... say what you think

I guess the eyes look nice but the whole wall looks too plain. Maybe try to center the eyes to the mid or add in a 2nd band showing her body. Overall its pretty good.

Like Dimsim said, overall its pretty good but its just missing that little extra, I dont know if Text should be added to fix it up, but this 1 can turn out quite good.

Gif? Blimey. Looks very pixelated as most large gifs do - I'd save it as a jpeg for starters.

In terms of the composition I'd suggest looking up somethign called "rule of thirds". Use this and place the strip around one third of the way down the wall and have her eyes one third in from the edge. It will look much more balanced.
