Yo welcome and for future purposes I suggest you type what you want to improve on it your wall or wat kinda efffect you trying to get.

Anyway I see the main problem is extraction for you. I'm not too sure but the quality of the scan on the first one kinda fuzzy. Well the first one the text abit weird but the 2nd one is good. Main problem in the second one is how you blended the character in the background and there seems to be a huge grunge brush right over the top right of her face.

A good start is work on extraction, dont just use magic lassso tool and then use blur to compensate. You need to zoom in and use the rubbber tool or the magnet tool. Then try to create more interactive backgrounds rather then just a fusion of renders + brushes. Try to use stocks baby, vectoring is also good.

Either way your on a good start, better then me when I first started.

u're right, i use too many brushes, i just realized that how tiny i am = =
my walls are juss so XXX camparing to the others.
