Let's assume that Harry Potter will turn out to be an anime series .. what do you think about it? will it succeed or not?

I don't think it would and quite frankly i really don't think many people would like it simply because that they might not think it would do the series justice. I think it would be difficult to base an anime off of a seven volume-long hit series all across the world...(of course saying that, it sounds like I've just contradicted myself)! I just don't think it would have that much of an influence on fans as the books and movies! ^^;; but if they COULD pull it off, SURE that would be GREAT! ^^
Definitely not. Somehow, it's hard for me to even imagine Harry Potter being an anime. Let's just stick with the books, the movies, and the games.
Harry Potter anime? I thought the usual order was books->animation->tv live action->movie with variations. I think if it were made it would pale in comparison with the movie version. This reminds me of C.S. Lewi's narnia books being turned into animation, and it wasn't a very good transition.

Hell no i hate harry potter. but it would be quite funny.. but NO i don't think it will go well.
...i think...if hayao miyazaki and gibli studios can make it though...it would b great...following their recent works...but we dunno rite?...
I say we just leave harry potter alone with the books, movies, games, and whatnots... imagining it as an anime is just outright scary to me..

No way... it just isn't anime material... You can turn games into manga, anime COMES from manga... but turning a book into manga? I just don't think it would be very good. ^_^;
Man, a crappy harry potter anime would be so bad, it would make anime itself look bad and probably make them run out of buiness. Harry Potter is one of World's Most Nerdest Items in my account. The book itelf is f**king too long, The video games really suck and just bores me badly. Now, probably making it as a anime. All hell no. Anime will completely go away for life.
