The answer is simple: love is a empty word invented by women and exists only to bind you to them until they have sucked out every last penny. Either you like of someone or don't, and if they ask do you "love" them; tell them to get their head out of their arse. :D

I think love is more of a warm feeling that you get when you get close to a person. Butterflies in the stomach is more or nervousness than anything else. Just wondering are you trying to get a girl?

1. Is she making me nervous
2. Do i like being around her
3. Do i want to kiss her
4. Have i stutterd yet?
5. Do i think about her to much
if you think of most of these things on this list then yes you do like her and what the next step may be a little harder.
To see if she likes you back! that's the tricky thing

If any of these is that... then she POSSIBLY could like you...

What is the difference between liking someone and being in love with someone?! Honestly I don't think there is much difference only that ove involves so much more than just liking someone. Love is unexplainable. You feel kind of lost and complete at the same time. You feel a certain unexplainable comfort and happiness when you are with that special someone. You just feel it deep down in your heart when you are truly in love with someone.

I've always thought of it as good friendship mixed with low-level lust. Of course when you get older it moves into cooperation, as in building a family.
