This wallpaper gives us a perfect example of how a simple manga scan can be turned into a beautiful vector. Not only did danalm trace the lineart, but he also added amazing details and a simple, yet wonderful background. Furthermore, the wallpaper shows us how the monochromatic style can make your work look really interesting.

Who here likes 80's music? Sure, 80's fashion was the corniest/ugliest ever but I think they had great music. What's your fave 80's band/group/artist?

The 80's passed by in a flash for me... by the time I hit 10, it was the end *lol* So I don't know all the low-down on the music back in the day... but my faves are Spandau Ballet and Living in a Box (Room in Your Heart).

p/s: it is fun torturing my lil brother with Kylie Minogue's work in the 80's >DDDD

I was thinking the same thing! XD Holy crap, yeah, the opening to that series is about the only 80s music I've really listened to before. 80s music sounds really cool, but like I said, I haven't been exposed to enough of it. I'm not old enough to remember much from that time period. ^_^;

If you watch some Cowboy Bebop you'll really appreciate some of the 80's hip hop themes mixed with a lil jazz.

"I don't want anybody else.. when I think about you I touch myself" LOLOLOLZ

yeah so with you, kaji823.

I guess Duran Duran should be thanking the Speed Grapher crew for using their song.

I like The Cure, Bauhaus, My Bloody Valentine, Sisters of Mercy, Siouxsie and the Banshees, and Joy Division. Of course I appreciated these bands only recently. I was too young (or not even born yet) to enjoy them during the Age of Cheesiness, when they were still fresh.

I'll be brutally honest, I think 80s music belongs in the 80s. If old music is your thing you should going for 60s and 70s rock'n'roll! :D

I remember liking Belinda Carlise and even bought her casette (!) tape. But I've stopped listening to western stuff after I discovered anime and jpop.

I listen to 80's music rather often. The facion back then was really funny tho looking back now, but I bet it'll be popular again... atleast some parts of it
