I never actually played FFVII properly. I unfortunately started getting into Final Fantasy when FFX came out. I hope that we do get a remake of both FFVII and FFVi. And I'm sure that if Sony announced it, the preorders/sales of PS3 would definately shoot up.

Hmmmm I had heard that SqaureEnix wouldn't remake FFVII until it became unplayble on whatever console was out. I really would love to see a remake of FFVII but at the moment I think I want SquEnix to get some other games out of the way first, like for example get FFXII released over here in Europe! I also want to see more from FF13 (argh it ate my I's) too, all this prequal/sequal rubbish is starting to get annoying! lol! I can't believe they've announced one for FFXII already ;_;

I think it would be fun if they did make a remake for people who haven't played it but i doubt that there a lot of people who haven't played FFVII, it was a great game but they were saying that maybe people that have played the game might just use it as eye candy, i think the game should just rest but most likely they're going to make it again, man theres a lot of remaking now in SQUARE now :P

I would rather let it rest for other reasons...
I hope Square will do a remake. Even though it's an old game, it's still ranked as the 1 on top and many fans love it. If Square didn't want such consequences of the FF7 tech video, they shouldn't have done an intro remake of it for PS3. But now when they already have woken up too much attention of one sole video, they can't just leave us fans, can they; I mean ,come on, all fans are looking forwards this remake. I myself am waiting much more of this remake to happen rather than the ff13 to be done. Old games aren't really popular in the future, are they? How come FF7 then is? Now when Advent Children is made, it has woken an even bigger attention to the fans. Let a remake occur!:(

FF6 is unfortunately not that popular and nobody talks about it this nowadays. And it is a too old game, older than ff7, and it doesn't have the technology they used when working on ff7. ff7 was the first game to be made with a more advanced technology, it's very amusing and interesting story, so why not remaking it when so many fans want a remake? if you don't want a remake, that's your opinion, so don't drag along you everybody as well just because you don't want. We fans are doing our bests to convince square to do this remake, but I guess it's up to them afterwards...

FF7 does is like the 1st to have a advance story-line..........that is very detailed and emotional........
and all you can't lie, for thoseplayed FF7, when sephiroth jumped down and killed aerish when he stabbed her rite through the stomach that. yall ain't get emotional?!?!? i know i did, i was sad & mad at the sametime......... but my point in general is that it is a very good game, and that's why it still is and is a fan favorite even til today........... right ?
