bye bro! Why are you a gamer?
I've been playing games ever since I was six years old. At first I mostly played RTSs (and I still do), and I mostly played so that I could challenge myself to see how I could beat the game.
Later on, I began to play more shooters, and I still played mostly to prove myself, and to see what I could do.
Every time I get a new game (and that happens very rarely, since I only play like 3 new games a year) I always play it to its limits. I want to see what I can do with the game, and what I can get away with.
Now, however, I mostly play just to waste time. RPGs are great for this. I wish that I could do more things in those games but, eh.... they just don't satisfy me that much anymore

Games are fun. I dont realy know why I started.
Probably because it was so in to play video games and all other kids were doing it, I got a SNES with Donkey Kong Country and Mario Land ( one of the best games for the SNES ) and I realy enjoyed it and from there on the Nintendo 64 came out and I sold the SNES and I kept playing and playing. Its fun. It brings great enjoyment whether by yourself or with friends.

I am a gamer coz im gd at games, i enjoy playing games, and its not just the gameplay that i like, storyline, characters, music...the music created for the final fantasy series is legend, also, strangly enough i like getting stuck lol
a game withough a challenge is pointless, i always used to get stuck on orcarina of time and other rpgs, overcoming a dungen couldnt be more rewarding

Im a gamer because Games are fun! and it inspires me to work as a chracter designer when i grow up, great motivation, even though it makes my parents mad

I'm a gamer because it takes me away from reality and the stress of life, specifically college life at the moment. What better way to take a break from Molecular Genetics and Biochemistry and do dive into the world of Hyrule, follow the life of a certain ex-SOLDIER, kill the crap out of some of the covenant, etc. (as you can see, I can go on and on). The worlds that games create are like no other and it really keeps me sane, especially with the workload I have during college.
Does it need a reason? Haha. Im a gamer because its fun! And RPG games stimulates my brain. =^.^=

I think I'm a gamer because I try to play every game that interests me and try to beat it at least once resulting in quite a few games bought but never played again. Still there's just so many interesting games that I try to play them all.
