Windows live one care is phenominal. I think that the antispyware is free in a seperate download called windows defender but you have to pay about $50 for the anitvirus, backup, and other protection software. It's pretty good but I think it is only a year for service but most are today anyway.
AVG Free is pretty good, at least it works just fine for me. You can download it here.
I am using McAfee its realy nice ^_^
but i cant provite a downloading link(sorry about that)

I never use anti-virus since they can act like viruses themselves at times; eating up resources and doing things on their own when you don't want them to.
I use an online virus scanner which is done through a webbrowser and java.

You just have to be smart on what you open and run this every once and a while.

Maybe but an AntiVir has a better protection...(i think)
I would say through research and experience Nod32 would be a good choice since they find and Prevent almost all viruses i encounter and it's good for anti-Trojan
My AntyVirus is Norton and i liket.Norton Protect my system for viruses and he's package is include Speed Disck-optimization your disk and repayr the erorr on my system.

Yey seee McAfee is realy good ^_^
I'd recommend AVG too....works fine!
When on a PC, I use NOD32. It's sooo tiny, resource wise. Whereas the other programs will slow your system down and give you a lot of stupid warning screens and such, NOD doesn't.
The file size is ridiculously small, and it has won awards for being the best "wild" virus stopper (killing a new virus even without an update). You can download the free client and see for yourself.
Enjoy!

I use Norton... hehe, though it's slow, the pc is ok
I'm on the same page with GoldenApe. I have to hand it to AVG. Simple, very light and does what it's supposed to. If you can't afford the commercial version, you can obtain the free one. You just have to manually download and install the updates every now and then.
I have recommended my clients and friends, they love it. I also have used it in my office machines. Works smoothly.

In my opinion avast is good and antivir is good as well and both are FREE!
HMMMM AVG will no longer be free starting in January...
Maybe I'll look at this NOD32 thingamajigger.
