I'd sugguest resident evil 4 thats coming out soon.,,.it has an extra mission that wasnt on the GC version,...i watched someone play from start to finish ( iwas to much of a wuss to play)....it is awesome ><!

Seriously...many of these games are getting monotonous...the same old zombie killin, beast chasin, ammo searching games have made kids resilient to them.
they need to make a game so sacry, so dark, so hopeless, that kids feel scared even when they shut the console off.

I agree that they need to really try and boost up the scare factor. I thought Project Zero (fatal frame) really did that, though... I've still to play part 2 and 3, but that game really creeped me out. Silent Hill series is awesome looking, inspirational, but becoming less and less scary for me each with each game... hmm...I still need to play resident evil 4 though, I've heard godd stuff about it.

Yeah..but things like resident evil......your just blowing away slow, uneducated zombies...unless their animal or monster zombies, in which case they tend to dodge your blows better.....the one thing i liked recently though was resident evil outbreak..how you could play it online...its fun to see someone take one for the team and hold the door shut against a horde of undead as the others escape to later be killed....mwahahaha

My most favorite survival horror game has got to be the Silent Hill series, well except for Silent Hill 4 I didnt like that one too much =/ and definatly Eternal Darkness.

I think Haunting Ground is the true survivor game, but not as scary as fatal frame series.

Resident Evil 4 isn't really that cracked up to be a scary horror game IMO. Currently making another run in it. My first playthrough, there were some parts where I'd be caught off guard and thus, freaked out, but nothing too extravagant. But I must say, the handling of the controls this time around is the best I've felt in any RE game, which is good.
RE4 is more action than horror...

The Silent Hill series is the best in my opinion, followed by Resident Evil. While Res. Evil tries to shock and gross you out, Silent Hill is truly frightening...

Well reading the Title of the Thread awakens memories in me:
I don't know, but somehow Martial Arts game like Budokan was kinda scary for me or even Street Fighter. Sumo Wrestler E. Honda was really scary at that time IMO :ashamed: Today I can only laugh aboout myself...
When I play Resident Evil I often must scream but later I laught about the monsters^^ I think play with a friend is more funny because you must scream when he/she scream ^_^;

My favorite is The Suffering. A slayer jumps off the celing and stabs you I start running around yelling Die, Die, Diediediediediediedie! Really good game.
