What do you buy at an anime convention?

What do YOU buy at an anime convention? Personally, I buy stuff that you generally can't find in stores that are common (Best Buy, Suncoast, Frys, E-bay, etc etc). Stuff like doujinshis, J-manga (because I hate translations), shitajikis, rare posters, rare scrolls and so on. Basically, stuff I have a hard time finding or stuff that I never knew ever existed.
Well I normally just like pickling up the random artbooks, doujinshi's and if they have a figure I absolutly must have I buy it. Otherwise for some reason I just like going to the art galleries and browse around there.
Well, I plan on going to the A-Kon here that is coming up in June. (since I'm just lucky to live right near Dallas =^.^=) Last time I was there I got me the Fullmetal Alchemist pocket watch, the real deal. This time I hope to have more money with me so I can possibly get me an anime or two, or heck even a replica sword of something...oh wait, scratch that idea. >_< But mostly anime, and collectibles from various other animes if I can find them.
Always alone, no one wants to be friends with me, I'll forever be alone. No family, no siblings, no one to look up to.
Figures and Art Books, followed by rarer wall scrolls and other character goods. Occassionally Import Soundtracks.
I have never been to an anime convention,but I'd love to go to one someday,I'd probably buy artbooks and anything rare or new that I don't have in my collection

I have no idea what i would get as im from New Zealand and there is like only one a year here but it's in another city so i cant get to any. ;.(

I usually buy posters, CDs, cards, DVDs and VCDs. So basically, at the end of the day, I lose ALL my money. And until now, I'm still broke. T_T
I don't But i buy Anime Models and Books and anything but movies unless its a Import but thats just me i also sometimes go there in a costume :D
Anime is looking in to the Souls of Humans bring Love Hate and Passion to the Eyes of Others, So Anime is part of the Human Soul
I'd probably just buy things that I like like models and CDs

Well,there are many anime convertions in different regions of different countries,I come from China and there are also many anime conventions in my country,but I only have participated such convention once in HK.HK is an international city,but I think the anime convention in it is not as good as in some of the others region of China,like ones in Shanghai,Hangzhou,though I haven’t gone there before.and in fact,it was my first visit such convention and it was also the last time,for it did disappoint me so much.
In the convention,it seemed more like a market where people buy something or just have a look at the goods.it is quite common,I had thought there would be some shows or some famous author would come here,but it turned out to be my dream~~

Well, I would buy some figures that I wouldn't find anywhere else. Probably some anime scrolls and rare posters. As long they are under a hundred bucks.

I normally buy manga cause there are some insane deals on it, and just cause theres a huge selection I probably find a wallscroll.
