This wallpaper gives us a perfect example of how a simple manga scan can be turned into a beautiful vector. Not only did danalm trace the lineart, but he also added amazing details and a simple, yet wonderful background. Furthermore, the wallpaper shows us how the monochromatic style can make your work look really interesting.

"Thank You" is the common words that we used to say our graditute to a person that have helped us to solve a problem. But oftenly, we think the thanks just a simple thing. Me too, I've ever thinked that thanks isn't a big deal, but the real is it's so affecting our relation with the other person. For the example, we've helped to solve a problem by someone, then we said thanks to him/her. Of course it gives us a different image with if we don't say thanks to him/her. Have you ever felt like this? Don't you think the "Thank You" word is a very important word to keep our relation and our "name" in the other person eye? Share your comment.

Yeah, I agree. "Thanks" is something many take for granted now, even amongst close friends or family. There is a huge difference if you say it or if you don't, cause you're not only expressing your gratitude, but the other person can see that their help was greatly accepted. This also makes the other person happy that they could have helped you in any way, cause if they did help, it does show that they at care or consider you. I've always been taught to say thanks, with also the other part of the 'thanks' which is to establish eye contact when saying it, and I always get different reactions (a smile, or something) compared to a friend of mine who doesn't say it so often.

It is true :D! To say thanks is a lot important! It is not only sign of polite but also to feel the other person satisfied to have to you helped or to have offered a service to you. I never do not forget myself to make it and at the same time I am happy when I find other persons that they say thanks to me ^_^

The word "thanks" is being overused, just like how all special words seem to be exploited because of laziness and constant using. Who knows, saying to a person "I Love You" could mean nothing unless you could read their mind.

But anyways, I think "thanks" is just a cheap word while saying "thank you" is more polite and open. Say the words that are intended and it might mean something different.

Yeah, I just shorten it to thanks because I'm too lazy to write thank you down. But thanks for the opinion, that's very useful, because it's really more polite to use thank you better than thanks instead. I personally used thanks only to my friends, but to the person that older than me, or have a respect-relation, I always used thank you, not only thanks. ^^

Unlike saying sorry,I say this word very often, but everytime I unconsciously turn down my voice and what I say is hard to be heard by the helper.
If only I receive help from someone or it just give the time of day to me,I am gald to say “Thanks”.Unlike “Sorry”,it doesn’t mean what you insist is wrong or what you think should be gainsaied, contraly,it can warm someone’s heart and make him more willing to help the others people.and after saying “Thanks”,I feel excited and the world become better, there are still many kind-heart people.Do you think it is quite wonderful?
So don’t hesitate whether to say “Thanks” when receiving help, just say it even if the help is little. You will find something has changed because of such a magical word~~~~^_^

Yeah, me too. It's easier to say thanks than to say sorry. I oftenly say it, you can see almost all of my wallpaper comments. ^^ The thanks can give the appreciate to someone who has created a help or do a valueable things for us. That's why the thanks is easier to be said than the sorry. ^^

I always say Thank You if someone lend a helping hand to me. It's like a reflex action for me. I'll have this warm feeling when someone just gave me a solution to a problem i was having or gave me a hand when i was having difficulties. So, i'll automatically say Thank you very much and smile with all my heart. It's because of them that my day seemed brighter and a burden lifted off my shoulder.
I always leave my thanks too whenever i download a scanlation or wallpaper. It's nothing actually compared to the massive efforts they placed in their works.

I would agree on most posts in the above, I however feel underappreciated the way I say thanks, most people never seem to acknowledge it.

People tell me that I shouldn't have to say "thanks" so often because I seem to be too humble, but sometimes when I forget to say it i feel a bit upset

I tend to say thanks for things quite easily when someone has done something to help me (even if indirectly) but I don't feel bad it someone dose not say thanks back when I do something to help them unless I really went out of my way.

Nice habbits. ^^ Automatically say thanks if you've felt helped by someone. ^^ Yeah, I think with smile, the day become looks brighter and happier. ^^ You have a same habbits with me, leaving thanks every wallpaper comment we've created. ^^ I can feel how difficult the making of wallpaper. I've tried to create some wallpaper and all of them is failed. ^^ I can feel their trial on making the wallpaper. ^^ So I say thanks every time I commented the wallpaper.

'Thanks', 'Thank You', 'Arigato', 'Gracias'...

It's a simple word or phrase that CAN make you change how you look at someone. Personally, I say 'thanks' whenever I'm helped. It's automatic in that sense, but sometimes I'll forget to say it or I'll think I didn't say thanks and the thought would bug me for some time. I wouldn't like to be thought of as a person who doesn't appreciate help or give credit where credit is due.

Even when I'm driving I do say thanks 'a simple wave' to other drivers who will let me pass when stopped or proceed or whichever...

And for people who don't say thanks, you get that back-of-the-head feeling that somethings kinda not right, or they're not appreciative or you did something wrong that didn't warrant a thanks...or maybe they're just not the type of 'thank you' person.

Really differs from each person, but majority wise 'thanks' is widely used.

It's so simple and so common, yet when not uttered, can cause tension...
