This wallpaper gives us a perfect example of how a simple manga scan can be turned into a beautiful vector. Not only did danalm trace the lineart, but he also added amazing details and a simple, yet wonderful background. Furthermore, the wallpaper shows us how the monochromatic style can make your work look really interesting.

hapinatsu

I always say Thank You if someone lend a helping hand to me. It's like a reflex action for me. I'll have this warm feeling when someone just gave me a solution to a problem i was having or gave me a hand when i was having difficulties. So, i'll automatically say Thank you very much and smile with all my heart. It's because of them that my day seemed brighter and a burden lifted off my shoulder.
I always leave my thanks too whenever i download a scanlation or wallpaper. It's nothing actually compared to the massive efforts they placed in their works.

That's almost exactly how I feel. ^^♥

Saying thank you is the least someone can say or do to some one who helped you out. Even if it's just something simple like...someone holding the door for you. This world is very cold and how many times are people left in the dust? A lot, at least from what I've seen. I'm not saying that people aren't helpful but I'm pretty sure that most of the time they look the other way. Or just don't care.

I personally, say thank you every time someone takes a minute of their life to help me out. But I'm known for saying thank you a little too much.
I HATE when I help someone and they don't say thank you, it makes me regret helping them, like they didn't care. Eventually it feels like I wasted my time.

Anyways, what I'm trying to say is that I think people who don't say thank you are rude. :)

I do my best to say thank you to people who help me out. Its impolite not to and it let's the person know you appreciate what they have done for you.

Being from my cultural background, I do say thanks quite a bit, even though most of the times it is unecessary. I do try to do my part in the world, I do try to help out sometimes in return. But yes... I do need to tone down on the thanking people for minor or trivial deeds.

Sure, I think that is very common for a person to say "thanks" or "thank you" to the people who helps you.
Maybe it is only a word and also very simple for everyone to say it,
but it is effective and easy way to show your grateful to the others, that makes them would like to give you a hand again when you fall into trouble next time.

How often do any of us really mean it when we say "Thank you?" I'll bet, not many. That's why I think people who do say this only do so out of courtesy. However, I believe even going out of your way to do that much goes a LONG way in making somebody elses day at least that much better. We may not be sincere, but we still at least care. I think that's the first step in growing as a person, to do things you normally don't want to, but growing up, and eventually meaning.

Depends on who I'm around. If I'm talking to my friends, I'll say "thanks" after asking them to get me something. If I'm at a restaurant or something, I'll say "thank you". I'm not really a formal person.

I say "thanks" when the term should be used. If somebody helps me out i always thank them. Its proper manners i guess.

Indeed! "Thank you very much" or "Thanks"...it's definitely one of the common words that I always say.
I can't imagine a day that I haven't said this word.
Whenever someone halped me, I always say "Thanks".
It makes the person feel happy inside and same goes to us as well.

I use the word "Thank You or Thanks" on a regular basics. I'm pretty polite to others and it does feel good when you get a "Thanks You" or just a "Thanks" back. If you are nice to other people, then they will be nice to you. I guess for little stuff i usually say "Thanks" and more important stuff i would say "Thank You very much.

The one thing i don't like is when you are holding the door for someone just to be nice and helpful and they don't even say a word to you afterwards. They just walk right pass you like your a nobody and that just ruins your mood right there.

There are many ways to epressyour gratitude. Thank you is not the only thing you can say... But thank you is the basis term for the basic situations in life, when somebody helps you out in the basic things...

Sometimes it depends on the person or personal friend and how much it means to you getting help for him AND how big the problem is that has to be solved. Then you can go further and say things like "I really appreciate what you have done for me..." or "I owe you one, man..."

Generally,... always be greatful for any help that you get, be it friends, relatives, parents or whoever helps you...

A thank you has many different sub-meanings and effects
