OK, I'm pretty sure this one hasn't been started before... (I did three searches, lol. XD)
So...What are the everyday things that can make you feel better, that make you smile? Let's not let this be a list; that's no fun. XD
Me, for example...I love thunderstorms. When the rain lashes hard against the windows, I just stay in my room and draw while listening to music...Sometimes I make some hot cocoa and read a good book. Then I'm in Paradise. ^_^

Ah, yes...There are lots of things as good as what I'm doing right now...but they each have their own special charm: surfing a site I love, listening to my fave music, and all this of a bag of M&M's beside me...I am content. XD (M&M's are yummy! ^_^)

The 10 minutes I spend every morning waiting for a bus in sub-zero weather, just watching my breath in the cold air.

I have a few things I enjoy... Yeah one of them is like the thread-starter. I like rain too. When it rains I do simple, relaxing things like maybe music and surf web or maybe watch Anime.. I dunnoe. Or yeah, just daydream. I daydream a lot and it's another simple thing I enjoy doing. But I don't like the rain to be a huge thunderstorm. I get scared... at times. :P So yeah, a rain is fine. No need for a thunderstorm o_O Another thing is.. I like to sit by the last row, left side of the bus seat (upper deck preferred) and watch the scenery as the bus goes... I prefer buses with no air-conditioning for this purpose. Better yet, it rains while I'm watching outside. That's best! :D Daydream time! :D
I like Fridays. The thought of the day being Friday makes me happy because it means I have the rest of the day free plus Saturday and Sunday.

I love watching the sky...with thin feather-like clouds, specially during sunsets were they turn yellow orange to bright reds. I love it because everyday is different and everyone of them takes my breath away. *tear* hehehe
I also like the night sky were the moon and all the stars are out...man I could just stare at it of hours...

That's right, clouds........I could stare at them for hours.
The same for bubbles, I used to make soap bubbles when i was 8, they're so beautyful and just perfect.

Like the person who started this thread, I just love when there's a storm (not too dangerous, still), and more generally when it rains. It's during those moments that I realize how good it is to have a roof over my head, and I enjoy reading, drawing or doing other stuff when it rains outside. The sound of the falling rain gives relax me for some reason.

Showers, I really like to shower for some reason o.O I like the feeling of hot water I guess, and it wakes me up in the morning, oh how I love it.

Well seriously, I like the time where I get to meet up and jam with my friends... when you are very toxicated with all the work in the office, you really want a company to unwind with, to share some fun and laughter and have a few drinks to that. KAMPAI! :D

I live in Singapore... Highrise buildings are everywhere and there aren't really fields for me to lie down and watch the sky... And there aren't that many stars at night here in Singapore... What a pity. I recall there were a lot of stars when I was young and it was beautiful. Lesser stars nowadays maybe due to the air pollutants or whatever I dunnoe.

Hmm. I like star-gazing. I live out in the county, so.. I can just lay out in the backyard and stare at the night for hours. I love stars. [nothing against you cloud-lovers, I like stars better.]
I also like to drive. I drive about 30 mintues to work and back each day, and everyone thinks it's insane. I don't. I love to drive. I still hate traffic, but they roads I take are backroads.. I like speed.. and having my stereo blasting whatever I feel like. Yes, I sing in the car too.
And I do have to agree, I love getting that five extra mintues in the morning.
Oh, and cool showers in a hot day.. that's makes anyone feel good.

I often take pleasure in having my computer playing some fine music and enjoying a cuppa good coffee, for me, that is pleasure. Whenever that music is playing, for some reason, the coffee just tastes so much better, the song is like a few beats slower, I almost sang to it, even if it was a depressing day, just looking out the window and enjoying the moment of peace, is absolute satisfaction.
It feels like the world has slowed down around you, especially if you look around in the streets, you feel like you would be in a gallery, looking at a moving cinematograph, but you are excluded from its movements.
