Hi all! Here my first wallpaper about an anime I love: Haikarasan ga toru. I hope do you like it! Maybe you can help me to do a better work... ^^ thanx!

Its a nice first try. I like the picture of the blonde haired girl holding the doll. Personally, I think it would look better if you focused on her and took out the other picture. Perhaps you could continue the pattern you have in the background and place the text higher up.

Yep, i agree with heart, just focus on one image. i think the ball design is a bit much but i guess if you like it...but the pattern should go behind her as well. not really liking the canvas texture on the wall. try out different ones or tone down the strength of it. (the most common thing is to find textures, like on DA! they're an affliate of this site, and put it over the entire wall and try out the different blending modes and opacity)
not really liking the font you chose for the text, try out different ones. maybe something that isn't so flashy. and lastly please move your sig to the bottom of the wall where it can be hidden by the taskbar.

Thank you heart and $chibi! I try to follow your advice and here's what I did: I tone down the balls pattern and I move down the sig. I changed the font. I try to use different texture but I didn't find something that I like...

i would have to say i like the first one more. just need a different font (sorry, it's just that people here are super picky about text). it's coming along nicely but definitely wait to hear from others before submitting. losing papers sucks if it's not accepted ;P

Mmm it's difficult to find the right font, I can't find the perfect font, Haikarasan ga toru is so delicate and I think I need a delicate font... I'm too weird? I'll try again ^^
Yup, the first one is better, try simple curvy font, and don't make it all grainy like... Good luck ;p

Hm...the latest version look like there's some filter effect on her, especially the ribbon.
the bg in the last version is better than the second to last version, but the girl's quality should be like the second to last version.
the text still isn't working. the problem is that it's not really elegant at all with those bold spaces on the font, and the font is too big. do something more elegant and cursive like.

Ok. better, i just have a feeling that the text is too italisized/slanted, and is too big still. remember that effects on text, most of the time does not look good, unless there's a distinct purpose.
the beach ball pattern is too repetitive still though. try to incorporate more elements and make it into a design

Font is good, needs something to match what I see as a japanese/american theme the paper's holding.
Try darkinging the text a lil. And it is a bit too tilted. Try about 30 degrees off the verticall.

incorporate more elements? like another image? or maybe it's better vanish a little more the balls pattern?
