This wallpaper gives us a perfect example of how a simple manga scan can be turned into a beautiful vector. Not only did danalm trace the lineart, but he also added amazing details and a simple, yet wonderful background. Furthermore, the wallpaper shows us how the monochromatic style can make your work look really interesting.

If I don't sleep 9 hours I don't get enough sleep, which I usually don't. Even if I go to bad and fall a sleep I wake up too early even if I don't have to be anywhere. It kind of sucks especially on a vacation. I think the key to a good sleep is to go to bad when tired, so lifting weights or doing some kind of work will be great and give yourself a lot of time to sleep.

Sleep...just hearing this word makes me wanna go in bed and start dreaming.
If I get enough sleep? Well...I' d have to say so and so,mainly because during school i barely sleep 6 or 7 hours...or even less...
During holidays...I sleep about 10 hours a night :D or more..but I'm usually used to getting up early in the morning! ^^

On some days I get around 3-4 hours of sleep while on other days I get at least 8-9 hours of sleep. It really depends on when I go to bed since I wake up around the same time every day. I feel tired if I don't get at least 7 hours of sleep so I guess I get enough sleep on some days.

When I have school I sleep for 8 hours, and weekends I usually sleep for 10 hours, however I'm always sleepy...I think my alter ego is the Simpson's grandpa...

I pray you youngin's never suffer the "joy" of being a long term chronic insomniac. I've suffered from insomnia for 20 years and spend on average, $3000 a year for sleeping medications (I take a cocktail that would literally kill most normal people--common meds were not designed for 230-240 lb. musclebound freaks). Sadly, my insomnia is almost all genetic and related to my brain activity.

Being in the fitness industry for 17 years, the importance of sleep CANNOT be understated. Sleep is the time when your body heals and regenerates. I often tell people in the gym that you don't grow when you're lifting--you grow when you are sleeping. The same can be said for fat loss. Insufficient sleep will lead to a harsh metabolic shift and cause you to retain body fat. An active person needs a minimum of 7-8 hours of sleep a night.

No need to mention the effects on sleep deprivation on mental acuity. Lack of sleep will eventually cause scholarly pursuits to suffer. Also, extended sleep deprivation can lead to "temporary insanity," including hallucinations. FYI, sleep deprivation is a common device used by interrogators as a form of non-physical torture.

Everyone is different as to the amount (excepting the above), but I recommend no less than 6 hours of sleep a night. Can you sleep too much? No really, UNLESS your extended sleep patterns are a result of depression. Then you have a whole different bear to wrestle with.

I can get as much to 14 hours of sleep and I'll still be tired. But, if I'm super tired before I go to bed, 2 hours would be good enough for me. Kinda weird isn't it... ^^"

When i'm going to college, i sleep 5-6 hours and when i'm in "vacation" i sleep 12 hours or more, but if, when i awake and stand doing nothing, i'll be sleepy all day along but if i keep myself doing something, i didn't get sleepy at all.

Ps: doing something doesn't count be on the net, watching tv or this kind of stuff.

Not at all...I'm usually sleepy in the morning and this weekend I even slept 11 hours from friday to saturday x_x
And the days of school? Well...I go to bed around 10 or 11 pm...but I lie in my bed for what seems like hours until I finally fall asleep. So it's like...5-7 hours of sleep...
And on normal weekends I stay awake up to 3 am and put my alarm clock on 11 am not to overspleep the whole day...I'm kinda wierd, I know...without a clock I'd sleep until 1 pm..

The amount of sleep one needs varies. However, you generally want to get 8 hours at least. Teenagers tend to need more than adults. That said, it varies for me. Sometimes I get 4 hours of sleep, sometimes I get 12. I really would like to get a normal sleep schedule down, but work/school prohibit this sometimes. I often prioritize sleep, though. If I'm tired I'll go to sleep. Schoolwork, social life, or any other obligations be damned.

I'm going to have to say no... Well I probably do I go to bed at like 12 and wake up at 7:45am so it's around 8 hours of sleep. I find though that because I'm at work all day I get exhausted from being on my feet and running up and down stairs. I always feel like I wanna be asleep by like 10pm but I'm scared if I do I'll wake up at silly o'clock in the morning! When I was at uni my sleeping pattern was messed up. Some nights I didn't sleep and some I slept for way too long. I guess that's why my sleeping pattern is so messed up!

I'm mostly an insomniac and it is driving me nuts, here I am at 1:37am in the morning posting on forums bacause I can't sleep, I can't phone my girlfriend, I can't go to the gym and I don't have the urge to go to sleep. It sucks being an insomniac, I'm also the only person I know that can stay awake for three days before trying to sleep most of the people I know can't stay away for one night.

My dogs are even restless at the moment because they want to go to sleep but I can't. I just lay there thinking about things and the more I think the less I want to sleep the more I lay down the more I think, so one can attribute my insomnia to brain activity as well.

I'm an going to insane very soon if I don't sleep more.
