bye bro! Should I get Xbox360 or should I save the money for PS3?

As much as I wanted a PS3, it'll be a while before the big name exclusives (Final Fantasy, Metal Gear, Gran Turismo, Devil May Cry, etc) come out. The $600 price tag is also a reason to wait a while for a price drop. So until getting a PS3 is feasible, I was thinking about picking up a 360. I wanted to know what the exclusive games are, otherwise I'll just pick up the PS3 version of a game when I do get one. I've got an excellent PC, so for any shooters and RTSs that come out on both, I'll be getting the PC version. I'm also interested in backwards compatibility, as I never owned a Xbox. So, the games I was thinking about getting are:
Chromehounds
Far Cry Predator
Gears of War (even though an eventual PC release is probable)
Halo/2/3 (Microsoft is pissing me off, what with needing Vista for Halo 2)
Dead Rising
Project Gotham
Forza
What are the rest of the exclusives that are worht picking up? Also, what multiplatform games have the 360 version as being better? (I've heard Call of Duty 3 is better on 360) I'd also probably (reluctantly) shell out the $50 per year for Live, so feel free to include games that are heavily multiplayer.

You really want to buy a $600 product from the company that put viruses on music CDs, shut down a long-loved online game store by exploiting the law merely because they sold PSPs, practially spat in Italy's face, made a game console about as durable as a house of cards, made up a fake movie reviewer to give their movies good reviews, and sold hundreds of people laptop batteries that explode at random? And more? Sony cares less about their customers than the average person does about the insects they trample without realizing it. You should read up on DRM and how it's sucking away all your freedoms to do what you want (be it legal or not) with your media. Sony is a HUGE supporter of DRM.
I suggest a Wii and an Xbox 360, if you can afford both. If not, consider a DS. And look around flea markets and antique shops, some of those old games are a gold mine of fun.
Oh and I should mention... Sony loses $200 on each PS3 sold. They have to make that up through game sales. To make up the $200 they have to sell 6 games per console. This is nearly impossible - Xbox 360 was the first ever to reach 5. So how else will they make up that money? Accessories and online purchases. Look forward to a lot of PS3 games requiring a ton of add-ons and expensive downloads to be any fun. Ahem, GT.

Hmm , okay ps3 is the obvious way to go. Its by far the much better console, despite what other people say. Believe me i HAD 360 and it sux, its pretty much a slightly better white xbox 1. Its really funny how the ps2 outsells 360 every month, by a HUGE number, so i would say get a ps3. Microsoft expcects you to play gears of war and halo until your dead. Just get that nice shiny ps3. Its worth it , i have ps3 and resistnece fall of man is pretty much halo for ps3 , but with better multiplayer. And when mgs4, devil may cry 4, Socom 4, and all the other super fun games come out on ps3 , microsoft will just say "hey look, Gears of War is $20 ., come buy it. If you own a playstation 2 , get some new games for it. Believe me i still play ps2 games on my ps3 games like i dont have a ps3. I suggest getting bully, Final Fantasy 12, Mgs3 :subsitence, socom combined assault, or resident evil 4, all games that show ps2 is not going anywhere for a long time.
Well if your going to save for the ps3 your in for a long wait since there going to keep geting out of stcok for a while and also do you really want to pay $600 for it i and by the time mos tthe good games out come it droped in price get the 360 also the 360s games have started to drop down in price

Save your money for PS3 ^_^
Both consoles feature some pretty cool titles. so it would be sweet to get them both. but if that is not an option then...xbox360 looks better then ps3 for now, but it had one year already. but in the future adds might change. so i'd say if you prefer J-games like j-rpgs, mgs, fightings and stuff thne ps3 is your homboy, if 3dactions, sportsims, and other then xbox would be a wise choice.
PS3 have free internet connection apart from Xbox360 where you have to pay for it. Don't know about that you need to download stuff to have fun with it or those add ons you call it, Didn't XBox360 have those add ons?
IGN says it will cost around $465 US dollars, Then it totally depends on what games you wanna play in the future and what games you like. Games that comes to PC sometimes come to the Xbox360 mostly from EA.

Buy the Wii and Zelda: Twilight Princess. A much better use of your money instead of paying for the 360 which has no good games besides Dead Rising and graphics that look like the original Xbox. Or buying a PS3 when half of the money is towards a Blu-Ray system that's in the middle of a battle with HD-DVD just like VCR and BETA technology fought when they first came out. One technology is going to win and if you own the loser you'll be out a few hundred dollars on a technology that can't bring you anything worthwhile because it's proven to be unreliable and obsolete. Wait at least a year and a half for the PS3's price to fall, for a few good games like the Final Fantasy VII remake to be released, and if the Blu-Ray wins the technology battle you score another one for the team. But if it loses then you'll be saving money by buying a version that doesn't have the extra few hundred dollars slapped on for the Blu-Ray system.

Save for the PS3, but don't buy it right when you get the money to pay for it. Wait until the middle of feb when they should have more titles worth putting down that kind of money for.

BUY THE WII
It took forever for the 360 to drop its price. Why? Becasue most people with any sense were waiting to get the Wii and the PS3. Its not until PS3 comes out that any price drops will occur. If you have waited this long to get the PS3 then a little while longer shouldnt matter. And further more who wants a big white brick for a controller when they can have the iressistably small and light PS3 or Wii one. Patince is a virtue. Or if you dont have anymore patience from all the waiting, you can always use your XBox controller to smash the TV with.

Now I remember why I stopped coming here so much; sometimes this board's average poster makes the kids posting at GameFAQs and the Nintendo forums look like geniuses.
Well, since I suppose buying both is not an option for you, get the one that has the games you want to play the most first. If system price is an issue, then I suppose that narrows down your options. I don't know why exclusives is an issue, just get the system that has the games you want.
