Lost Planet is a third person shooter for the Xbox360 by Capcom. It was made by the creator of Megaman and Onimusha. The game revolves around a Wayne, who suffers from amnesia and is searching a large creature that killed his father called the Green Eye. You are on the planet E.D.N i is a cold and snowy planet, from there the name, Lost Planet, extreme condition. I will leave the story at that, as it has a fairly complicated story. You must use thermal energy to keep yourself alive, which adds more to the gameplay, as you cannot waste much time simply looking around. You must survive, fending off enemies, and making sure your thermal energy does not deplete. Every time you kill an enemy, it will leave a bit of thermal energy behind.

From videos I have seen and reviews that I have read, all point to intense third person action thanks to the wide variety of insect like aliens living on the planet. From giant aliens, to those who attack you from the sky and ground, its very diverse. And so are the weapons you use in this game. So with all of that said, I`m without a doubt going to buy this game.

It certainly is a fun game. Looks absolutely stunning, and the boss design is bad@$$.

The story, though the press has been dogging it, is actually pretty cool. Especially for us anime fans.

The online multiplayer over Xbox Live is super-fun. Quick bursts or for hours, it never gets old! And the maps are excellent, minus Pirate Fortress. Lost Cost is a personal favorite, for the ocean on that level is a visual splendor!

I like the game, nice grafix and nice sound, i like the boss battles and all

I just got it yesterday, already beat it. =P

The graphics are stunning, the storyline's fairly good (Although it could've been better developed.), and the gameplay is exciting. Campaign keep's me entertained a good bit with the Akrid and NEVEC/Snow Pirates as your enemies.

I'm in the hospital right now, so I can't comment on the XBL Gameplay, but first chance I get, I'll find out and get back to you on it.

I love this game just not the ending the ending was Bad really bad.
And dont play it on Extreme it will get you very mad

Good game, although I dont like the character design that much, sure, it doesnt bother me, but Im just not that fond of it. Other than that, the story isnt what it could have been, but in the end its a great game with elements that should please anyone who likes third person action games.

I'm not really normaly into these types of shooters. However, when I first played it on my brothers Xbox360 I couldn't help myself the game is pretty unique. I didn't understand what was going on a first but the story did eventually get pretty intense.

Its not a game for most novice players because it does tend to get a little difficult with some of the boss battles. It also incorperates the elements of mobile weapons, which sets it apart from a lot of the shooters out there. I have to say though it is a little odd fighting enormous bugs.
