bye bro! Shakugan no Shana
I have bee anticipating this anime for a couple months now.The animation looks great, the way the characters are drawn just lures me in.Ive been wanting to see it so bad, and when i finally found a download about peed myself lol. The funny thing was, that when it finally got done downloading , i realized it was completely subbed in spanish or something so i didnt understand anything lol. Because of this thread i found some links to some english(I hope) subs. I hope they work and I cant wait until I see and understand some Shakugan No Shana! ( I know its completely off topic but I also want to see some Noein or however its spelled, it looks interesting and is being directed by Kazuki Akane! (escaflowne and Heat guy J dude)

Shana does look pretty good.. ive been dl myself.. and the animation is clean and sharp.. i like it..

plot - 11/10 im into all this talk of existance and all that. this plot also has alot of different popular genres including : action, fantasy, school life, romance
characters - 9.5/10 if she only said urusai twice it would be good rather than three coz i think it gets a bit annoying
and yeh i liked anime like this when you watch it you start to think abt stuff like existance and its cool ><

Shana manages to keep getting better and better. Episode 8 blew me away. The production quality was top notch, best so far in the series. I also like how Shana's character has developed, especially how she is around Yuuji. Episode 8 emphasized how much Shana has grown in just a few eipsodes. Think it was episode 5 where she was easily defeated by Majorie but in 8 she doesn't even struggle against her. She also seems to be more collected during battle, which really helped her. Finally she went in with a plan, as evidenced by Yuuji possessing the ring.
Going to go home and watch 9. Looks like a fanservice episode, so may be a little disappointing after episode 8.
Overall this anime has really surprised me, I really didn't like it much after the first two but its gotten a lot better since then.

Shana is so cute with her watermelon bread ^^ I love the way she acts towards Yuuji too...I believe their relationship is blooming ^^

Im watching shuffle! and since it was almost done i thought i would go find another anime. so here i am! i stumbled across shakugan no shana, only to find it to be very good! i like it a lot! ive only watched up to episode 3 though...:headbash: i think im understanding everything, but i love shana and yuuji! so kawaii together! i know im going to like this anime a lot! one thing: what was the necklace/amulet thingy shana was wearing called again?
Alastor, "Tenjou no Gouka". I believe he acts through the pendent through something called a Cocytus(not really sure about spelling). I recall researching his name one day and in Greek mythology Alastor is a demon that was cause of murders, sins and traits from family lineage. (Something like that.)

Shana is at the stage, where it introduces a whole bunch of character during the opening we are yet to see... like the guy with the brown cloak and the girl with the blue hair and white clothes....

I really like the concepts of this series.. differentiating between tangible physical presence and actual core 'existence' is very interesting, no? But we don't have the perspective of any of the regular Torches, and I imagine that such a distinction isn't as pronounced for them because their physical depends on their 'existence'... Cool ideas being played out quite well so far, I think.
The animation is nice too - not too flashy, but distinctive and attractive in its own way. And Shana is such a great character! Hehe anyway I am very much looking forward to how the series will progress :)

I just love how Shana obsesses over melon bread. Especially in the pool episode. That was quite amusing for someone who goes around swinging a sword.
I think thats because its hard to imagine how someone can eat the same thing over and over again and still enjoy it..
i am like that i can't understand how people can do the same things over and over again and not get tired of it...
i mean my friends play hundereds of games of DOTA everyday.. and they don't get tired of it... for like 3 years... i played once and got sick of it ><
just so you know... i am rooting for the girl with the brown hair instead of shana ^^ that is until there is another character who i think is cooler lol...
main reason is, if i ever met anyone like shana in life, i would probrably hate her lol ><

I am a fan of Shakugan No Shana, still attempting to chase down all the the series...(waiting)...the story plot is quite different from those anime that I have watched...
Besides, I also like the opening and ending themes of this anime...seems to have a different rhythms than the other anime (for me...)

I love how in the latest episode, Alastor was acting as Shana's dad. Also, the way she was trying to understand what love was, especially the kissing part. She just kept saying to Yuji; "I will not do it with you." It was so cute to see her blush!
