I just saw episode 4, and I have to say that I'm really liking this series so far. The animation is very well done, and the music is pretty good to. I'm looking forward to see the rest of the servants, and what they're abilities are. This is quickly rising up as one of my favorite series, can't wait to see more.

I think this anime has great potentials =P cuz saber is too cool @@
i bet the main character will slowly improve his skills and come to the top to fight some final boss/rival =P

R-15 probably... (japanese rating) since it shows deaths in a realistic way and a possibility of a inference to "mana transfer" in the near future (doesn't mean they will show it though, but rather allude to it..)

It would be interesting to see what they do with the "mana transfere" on whether they allude to it, scratch it out and replace it with a different method or maybe just flatout put it in, probably not the last option there though.
Another way is that could use a different scenario from the game... but then again, one of the other scenarios deal with rape and "domestic" abuse...

Episode 5 looks more like a comedy than a serious fighting anime. But I just love how Taiga-sensei reacted after being defeated by Saber. XD
And the chase down the stairs with both Shirou and Rin feeling the impact from jumping off the stairs helps lighten up the mood to the whole confrontation which I feel is appropriate. I'm speculating that these two will be the last two Masters standing.
The pace of storyline in the fifth and sixth episode isn't really as fast as I like them to be. And there's not enough battle screentime for Saber so far. Anyway, I'll just bear with it since I'm really looking forward to some real confrontations instead of these feints and half-assed battles.

At least a new servant was introduced. I would have liked it more if Saber was the one who fought Rider, but I'm sure that there will be better fights in the future. My friend kept on teasing me that this series will only have 12 episodes like Tsukihime, but I rather not believe him on it. Besides, I'm sure TYPE-MOON didn't like the turnout of Tsukihime and I'm hoping that this anime be at least 24 episodes.

I liked how Rin used her Gand to destroy those bone soldiers seeing it as how it looked pathetic on Berserker. The people at Type-Moon probably wanted her to look like someone who was -good- at sorcery. The comedy part with Rin and Shirou wasn't really too great with me, as the comedy and serious sounding music was just plain wrong. The Yukata saber in Taiga Vs. Saber was one of the good comical battles. I'm happy with Type-Moon for taking their time in developing the characters. Everything that should be seen is there. =]
Also, I'm glad that some CGs from the game are being animated into the show.

This series is going to be among my fav too...

Saber is super cool! I was quite disappointed when she only appeared for few seconds in the first episode. The story's getting more interesting... well.. so far i've watched ep 1-4. But to see Emiya being so useless just reminds me of Ah My Goddess :S Oh by the way, I can't stop myself from thinking of Asuka from Evangelion whenever i see Rin and Archer reminds me of Gundam Seed's Dearka. They really look alike. Sigh~~~ hopefully they won't include any hentai scenes in this anime (keeping fingers cross) Any idea who won the Holy Grail Battle before this? I mean which servant~~~ but Saber's really cool! suki suki!! ^^

This anime has a relation to a game called Fate/Hollow Ataraxia. If interested, here is the Official Site of the game. I don't have much knowledge of the game, but from the looks of it, characters from the game make their appearances in the anime.
Meh...episode 7 was a bore. Still no battles nor Saber battles.

I had played the trial version of the game just before the anime came out. It took me awhile to like the anime, but I just saw episode 6 and 7 tonight and I love it now. Rin is my favorite character, she's just real. We both have two sides to our personality and she doesn't hide it or deny it :D
