[Anime Discussion] SHUFFLE! Memories
SHUFFLE! Memories has just been aired in Japan this Sunday. The first episode was mostly a recap of the original SHUFFLE! series which is not surprising from me considering that I've been hearing news that Memories will be more of a Director's Cut of the original series. Notable about Memories is the censoring which was not implemented in the original. But who cares? SHUFFLE! Memories still looks great nevertheless and I hope it stays that way throughout the series. I get to see Asa-sempai again.

I have seen someone who uploaded Shuffle! Memories in youtube...though its the RAW version...well i just had to say it...
but to be honest, i have never watched Shuffle! cuz i feel that i've had my share of harem anime (boy + loads of girls anime, if you wanna read my reaction to those in my thread). Well I think its good and it seems to be quite popular.
I might watch it if someone pushes me though, just need someone encourage me XD
send me a message if you think i'm a twat for not watching it...LOL (then i'll probably watch it depending on your description of the *good* bits of it)

no your not a twat...coz you WILL watch it hahaha... coz its good 4 wat it is...a harem anime...but its da best harem anime eva...but so far from wat ive herd...da 1st episode of Shuffle! Memories is practically a recap episode...introducing da characters & more censorship...but yeah plotwise i dunno which direction this anime is gonna take

I've been waiting for Shuffle! Memories for months now and I'm so happy it's finally out. Does anyone know who is going to be subbing it?

In regards to the original Shuffle series, based off of the ero-dating sim:
When I watched the first Shuffle, I enjoyed the first few episodes despite the harem premise. Towards the middle, I started to get tired of it's cute let's date them all happy harem goodness, but plodded through. Rin-chan, Rin-kun, and Rimu-chan are nicknames for three different characters that all sound the same. WTH.
I forgive all of that though.
Then all hell broke loose, and we were treated to some of the best character-driven psychosis I've seen from an initially light-hearted anime. Great anime, very much worth watching just to understand the last arc when everything comes together.

No idea either. Most probably it'll not be a remake since episode 1 is a recap of the original SHUFFLE! I've read somewhere (I forgot which anime blog) that it'll have its own story or even an alternate ending. The story is so shrouded with mystery it makes me excited (or anxious).

I hope its an alternate story, there were some parts with the first shuffle i dislike, but very good anime overall. I hope this new one will be even better then the first season.

Here is the story if "Shuffle Memory":
A recap of the Shuffle world, set ten years in the future. Gods, Demons, and Humans freely visit the other worlds as if traveling overseas, and romance is in the air. Demons, Gods, And Humans together have been falling in love and creating new families, breaking down the wall that once seperated them. Past memories are visited by Rin Tsuchimi and the events that occured between him and Lisianthus, Nerine, Kaede, Asa, and Primula.
And so far, they have up to 5 eps. Of course ep 1 was recap of serie. ep 2 is Fuyou Kaede's story. ep 3 Shigure Asa's story. ep 4 Nerine's story. ep5 Lisianthus story and etc.
So far, it pretty good. I don't like to spoil it too much and don't like to write it down either, so I'll stop for now. And I've been Shuffle fan since game (only made in japanese pc game and ps2). And this new serie isn't too bad at all.

Actually I am watching Shuffle---the series1 these days,but I don’t like it very much,it is too fantastic to believe,I can’t imagine that someone is so luckly that he can be loved by so many beautiful girls(I don’t like the design of some female characters,I only love two of all the girls)~it sounds that I am envying the main male character,of course I am,for I am also a man~~~

Is this a sequel to Shuffle or just an alternate retelling? I didn't like shuffle all that much (for some reason, I didn't think they got the humour and the serious part in the right mix and it feels awkward at times).
I think it will be great if this is an alternate retelling.
