Do you think this is ok or should I add more stuff to it?

Hhmm..first of all the resolution is small for me or it's just my computer.I think the background doesn't blend well with your scan.I think it's because the scan is in uniform attire then your making a background which is beach in which they do not match.I suggest you made a background that will suit to the scan.good luck!

Well, first of all the wall doesn't match the minimum dimensions of 1024 x 768 px.

Your wall is only 800 x 600 px in size which is to small.
I also must say that Rukawa is right with his comment. The background doesn't match the scan. If you want to make a wallpaper with a beach background you should get another scan. If you want to work with this scan you need to make a background which matches with the character.

The beach background is not bad but looks overfiltered and blurry. The sun looks weird. I think you should start the wall again because the size is the biggest problem here.
