The background and foreground have no relation to each other-- there's nothing but an image, solid colour, and font. Think about the elements and dynamic that you want to add to your wallpaper.

maybe try to go with the scan and make everything black and white, and change the bg, is too plain and simple...the text doesn't fit neither, and is too simple too...
think on a single style or color combination and apply that to the whole wall, make the scan blend with the bg...

Maybe it's too plain and the two colors seem to scream on each-other...
It's really improving...
the main problem is the bg...you have to fing a bg so the main images blend with it...
