First go at a wallpaper. I wanted a widescreen naruto Shippuuden wallpaper for my laptop and couldn't find any so I decided to have a go myself. What do you folks think?

I would suggest cleaning up the lines on Naruto's face, they're pretty jagged. Was the original scan really small? the background is pretty good, and the text at the top and bottom looks good as well, nut definitely get a bigger image to begin with.

Yep, the naruto scan looks too bad quality to me...in fact i really didn't like the whole wall idea, but if you want to improve it, start by getting a bigger/better image...or try to vectorize the scan, who knows...

Except for the jaggedness, I like it quite a lot. :)

Other than cleaning up the lines... you might want to take the faded characters out of the background and put in some kind of effect instead... I didn't notice them at all at first, and my eye kinda assumed they were some kind of pale grey effect, and I liked it quite a lot... now, knowing that they're characters, they distract me a little bit and I don't care for that as much. :(

Maybe spiky, or swirls or clouds naruto-style, the type that are in a lot of naruto images?

Anyway, really nice start so far. :)
