Black and white at it's best with a dash of red to keep things interesting.

D: I would hate to live somewhere with tornados. Crawl spaces are awesome if you are a kid :3

~LenasLover 1 hour 59 minutes ago

=P i still have the cards somewhere around my house. ^_^. in fact i saw them a few days ago. >_> whatever. lol. all i know is i'm never selling em. i'll be showing my kids and grandkids like "see this son? this is called a pokemon card. be delicate cuz it's made out of glass mixed with turpentine" xD hahaha.

aye, so how many of you scally wags out there admit ya watched, played the games, or collected the cards or SOMETHING dealing with pokemon? :)

This should be interesting...

I liked the show at the beginning. i was in high school and during the summer i would have weightlifting at 6.30 in the morning. my little brother would get up and watch Pokemon at 6 in the morning. so when i came down it was always on and i would sit there for 15 minutes or so before weightlifting and watch it. gradually i started getting up so i could get ready by 6 and watch the whole thing. thats really the only times i sat down and watched it, but i got a good 2 1/2 months worth of the show under my belt. it was cute, but i have long since gotten past that phase (this was over 5 years ago.)

I did not really like the series, but I can't say I didn't greatly enjoy the games. My interest lasted for a few years and I owned every game and put a lot of time into them, but that was eons ago now. I think I still might have my dear Charizard on the Red cartridge I threw at a mate the other day. It was fun while it lasted, but it has to be one of the most repetetive games evvvvvaar, since it is the same for pretty much every game. Sure you get some new lame monsters the look like mutant fish mixing with some prehestoric turtle, but they are all the same to me now. The original 150 was the best since they were original, but after that pokemon also spawned a bunch of rips offs like Digimon, awful pile of filth, easly forgotten and not long remembered. I seem to remember a VS between the two on CITV year and years and years back. The games were fun, but certain aspects of the series made it just too... prolonged. Sure I like long series if they are original, but pokemon used pretty much every idea it could, even jokes on behalf of the staff probably. No doubt some people still like it, since it is one of those generation to generation things i expect.

Pokemon used to be the greatest show ever. I was in 5th grade when red and blue first hit, and the show was amazing at first.
But after read and blue, the games, the show, the card game just started to go down. I'm not so into it anymore.

Pokemon for me has become nothing more than a cultural icon, useful for making jokes.

But I still have to admit that I loved it. One of the greatest rpg's ever. No Doubt.
Anybody who is afraid to admit they didn't like it is afraid of themselves, afraid of culture. all I have to say to that is, Not Cool. Not Cool.

Pokemon was so awesome back in the day when the first shows along with Red and Blue games aired. I used to wake up really early every morning just to prepare some food and just sit on the couch and watch some good ol' Pokemon. I used to play Red and Blue versions on the Gameboy so much too. Since the introduction of new Pokemon and other cliches, the TV show and the Pokemon concept itself began to dwindle, and I lost most of my interest since then. Ironically enough, I still possess some good old Pokemon cards from the base, jungle, and fossil sets. Them not being made anymore, I figured I could save it as collectible antique items one day! :)

I used to love Pokemon. I used to go crazy for all the games and merchandises. But now, I feel as if I wasted so much money on damn cards and plushies because now they're just sitting collecting dust.

The series still goes on and I have to admit, whenever I wake up early enough (that's right, 10 AM on a Saturday morning folks), I watch the new episodes. Ash and crew are in Hoenn now and wow, I must say, it's extremely repetitious and boring and childish. Now I am thinking if people should base the story off the manga which is much better in my opinion. I think the first and a little bit of the second seasons were the best, then everything began to tumble to repeats and similar Pokemon with new names.

I still play the game time to time for old times sake but it's also getting boring. All this training and catching Pokemon... it's not something to brag about anymore since anyone who has the game can now obtain the rare Pokemon. But yeah, I'm glad Pokemon existed because it made my childhood much better than it was going to be without Pokemon.

I use to like Pokemon. The game was great and the anime was liveable. Then Yellow version and the new sesson came along, and well, everything went downhill.

There were a lot other animes that came on with pokemon after awhile. In the start I could only recall Digimon and DBZ in my area that pokemon had to compete with. I still remember the whole card thing, our school had a trading ground where people would trade (or show off their cards). But the cards got banned because some little kid got theirs stolen sigh...

Also that time with the first movie release mewtwo strikes back... just wow...

I loved it when it first came out, but I was still in grade school. I got into the cards and stuff, but when THAT fad died, my interest stopped. But I have to admit, for that year or two, it was the bomb.

I think he was referring to me :P. I am 22 now (23 in 2 months though). I was 17 whenever I started watching it with my brother. It was entertaining to run around school and go "pi...kaaaa...CHUUUUUUUUUU!!" and everyone thought I was insane (not that they would have done anything about it because I would have released my Mewtwo on their ass!!). I watched the first two movies too though I haven't seen the more recent ones.
