I use to love pokemon, back in grade 3? damn it was so popular, which it sorta is now but yugioh kinda pushed it aside.

Im 14 and i really admit to watching pokemon it was cool then but now the cards got dumber the show got weaker and the games got boring.

Lol, who WASN'T a Pokemon fan? XD I used to have my cards, but my little cousin has just taken his turn at being a Pokemon fanatic, so I passed my cards down to him. I can only wonder how much my family spent on me alone, buying all that merchandise for me...

Started around 7th or 8th grade and I guess I watched it for a year or two until I stopped caring. It did get me deeper into anime, though.
I used to have some Pokemon merchandise and played the card game (even though I've quit Magic: The Gathering and the Pokemon game, I still think M:TG is the better game)

I don't like Pokemon at all really.I guess I was kinda a big fan back then.Like collecting the cards,
watching it EVERY single day,taping it,buying the Pokemon books(which I still have..^^''),drawing it,
and so much more.Again,it was crazy.O_O
Nowadays,I don't like it anymore cause back then,the show was really funny,and now it's not anymore in my opinion.It gets really predictable like meeting a new character and then there's a problem that happens.Team Rocket shows up and then Ash saves the day.So yea...it'd be better if it was just more than that you know?
And they have many other seasons I think.Something like Pokemon Chronicles...which I heard that Ash isn't the main character...-_____- But someone told me it's only an OVA.

There are very few people who were at one time not fans of pokemon. It was just the craze back then. I remember i got into it when i was in the 4th grade when somebody brought a game (i think it was pokemon blue to school). That was my first pokemon experience. Before long i was hooked on the show. It was wonderful. But then pokemon did a really STUPID thing. They decided to continue the series without changing ANYTHING. It was exactly the same thing just in a different place (johto) and with a few new pokemon. Ah! it was so boring. Repitition brought its death. Or maybe that was just me getting older and having profound insights. If there hadn't been a continuation of the series i probably would have wanted them to, but not the way they went about it.
Yeh.. i used to watch pokemon too especially everyday on the school days in primary school but as high school came i couldn't watch as much... the first 150 were the best

I remember a phase like 5-6 years ago and everyone had the cards and games and stuff. So i'm sure i thought it was great back then. But when i actually sat down and watched a couple of these episodes it seemed like the same thing repeated again and again and again. oh no they've taken pikachu... then the bad guys who fail each time fly off into sunset again. tho i suppose all kid shows are like that. So I'm sure if i was 10-12 i'd still be a pokemon fan.
I used to love Pokemon in a period of time...I watched the anime and played on gameboy...was great memories ^^
