bye bro! shojo vs shonen
Well for those who don't know what shojo and shonen is... shojo are anime shows such as card captor sakura, fruits basket, love hina, etc. basicly it's for girls you know the love and drama thing. while shonen are targeted for boys... action, adventure, friendship and other stuff are the ingredients for a shonen anime examples include shaman knig, full metal alchemist, naruto, bleach, gundam series(seed, seed destiny, wing, ZZ, etc), wolf's rain etc.
so i'm asking you guys which do you think is better shonen or shojo?

For me it's shonen but i like either of the two but now i'm addicted to shonen anime.(addicted to Tenipuri)
Mmm...if you ask me i'll bet my vote to shoujo besides i like action more than anything else...hehehe..

I prefer shounen even though I'm a girl =P Once in awhile I crave shoujo xD There are some shoujo that are really good because it has a decent plot and story, ex: Fruits Basket and Platinum Garden. Some shounen stuff might appear to be shoujo and vice-versa, ex: Angelic Layer -> Shounen but appears to be Shoujo. I find that shoujo drives me insane because there is always someone trying to drive the main characters apart.
Well i prefer shoujo too. but i like some shounens, like evangelion, full metal alchemist, yu yu, etc ^.^
Well... I prefer shonen ^^ the stories with lots of candy, honey and long-haired-colorfull-cute-girls dont work with me... guys maybe XD

Well, I 'm a girl, so I obviously like shojo. Not cause I'm female, is cause I like thing slike, CCS, Sailor Moon, etc. Of course, shonen anime can be awesome, and I watch it most of the time. Who couldn't leave without a bit of action and blood spilling? :D
I prefer Shoujo =] But Shounen is good too. I just prefer more romantic stuff than action.
I don't have preferences, depending on my mood, I read shonen or shojo... but I'm more interested in the story or the chara design ^^
And for information, Love Hina is a shonen because the main character is a boy (Keitaro) ;)

I ditto Kuyon's comment. For me, it's more about the story and character design. If it holds my interest, it won't matter if it's shonen or shojo. I've started watching Full Moon wo Sagashitte and just about done with Suzuka (not sure if it's exactly shojo, but it's a romance) and Rozen Maiden: Traumend and I think their Shojo. The story is what got me into those animes. There are other shonen animes I watch, but they usually outnumber the amount of Shojo animes I watch.
Shounen. I hate shoujo anime coz there's a lot of stereotype character with streotype plotline. Bah! But still, there's execption... I choose what I like. Usually I watch the first to third episodes to judge... If it were too much streotype.. I'll stop. And I love Shounen coz... I can see lot's of bishounen! Buahahahaha!! And most importantly, no mushy scene (well, maybe there's is. But not as much as shoujo!).. I HATE ROMANTIC/ROMANCE scene!
