This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.

While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

Looks like many spoiler here. Maybe it is better to give spoiler tag on the thread title.
I'm not a fan of sad manga (for me, manga, like any other entertainment, is for entertain, not to make sad), but I accidentally happen to read Ai-Ren. I'm grateful to be able to read such manga, but also regret, why it is so beautifully tragic -_-

The ending to Tokyo Babylon made me cry.. But X has definitely been the most sad for me.. The whole things just one big angst-fest.. Wahh! It still makes me sad even when I re-read it! Clover and Tsubasa are also pretty sad.. And parts of Fruits Basket. X wins out though.

I love sad mangas, they make you fell torn apart, and I usually cry when I read them, but I don´t know exactly why, I enjoy it. Sometimes I fell like, let´s go into a sad moment... p(T_T)q emoticon

Katsura is the Great-sorrow-sensei in my opinion, and Video Girl Ai his master work.

I´ts been 10 years since I read it for the first time, and everytime I´ve read it again, it makes me feel sadder... .()#

Chrno Crusade made my heart ache.By the ending on both manga and anime I was smilling and crying,so I'd say it's one of the saddest ones in my book.
Although Death Note can also be sad deppending on how you look at it.
Hmm,I know there's more but I can't think of any right now.Though I could name a lot of tear-jerker games :D (*cofcofphantombravecofcof*)

O.o FRUITSSSS BASKETTTT all tha way. I cried and cired and cried all over the manga. Its soooo sad. All the tragidies that happened in Tohru's life. Its horrible, even so, im still glad the manga had a very happy ending.

Hmmm...sad...sad...well, the only manga I have ALL the way through are Chrono Crusade, Wolf's Rain, and anime version of Eureka Seven. With the exception of E7, they're all sad. ESPECIALLY Wolf's Rain. Throughout all of their journey together and fighting the nobles and finding the flower maiden, trying to stay together and ALIVE...
