Did you ever love a character more than your boyfriend/girlfriend?
I don't have one yet but it would be surprising to meet one as cool as the ones in anime. Well, it will always stay in my hopes and dreams. So, right now, I only love the characters in anime. How about you? Don't take it too personnally.

Not love more thant my bf, but certainly dreaming about it hihihi i could easily dream i was saved by kenshin or doing some bad things with sexy hisoka from hunter x hihihi 
but it's normal when you really are into a good serie, you know, the kind of anime that you daydream about while doing the dishes loll but to use a strong word such as "love", i think that it's quite impossible, how can you love something that you cannot talk to, touch, and that is not even alive in fact...and if you do...maybe something's wrong

No, I could never ever love a anime characther and definatly not more than my wonderful boyfriend that I love more than anything. Anime characthers aren´t human, they are japanese cartoons. It is the same thing as saying "I love Donald Duck more than my boyfriend" dosen´t that sound strange.
I don´t think you can love something that dosen´t really exist more than something that is real and right infront of you.
My boyfriend means everything to me, he cares for me, makes me happy. Together with him I can do anything. But a anime characther a fantasy figure can´t care for me It can´t help me when I am in trouble, It can´t make me feel better when I am sad or have a bad time. Yes, ofcoures you can have fun when you watch the characther do something funny in a episode but it isn´t the same thing as having fun with your partner.
Therefore I could never love a fantasy characther over a human that is there loving me for real. But this is just my thought about it.

Nyu, I've finally managed to find a boyfriend who is far cooler and sweeter than several of the guys in anime xD Plus I could never really "love" any sort of character- it's just not the something possible compared to loving someone that is real and there for you. But I am pretty sure my boyfriend's got a thing for Dante from Devil May Cry that equals out to him being more sexually attracted to an anime/game character than he is to me x3

O.o xD I don't get NEARLY (actually I don't think I ever have xD) as lovey-like (w/e you wanna call that feelin) to an Anime char then to my luver xP Even though we broke up, it'll never happen, they aren't real. ^^ And I love her more then anything still. And plus.. You can't do anything to an Anime char ;D

Haha, this is an interesting question :) I would never love a fictional character more than a flesh-and-blood person, because you just can't form a healthy emotional attachment to something that only exists on paper in the same way that you can with a real person, after getting to know them and care about them. But, I have to say, I've had my share of times when I looked at my boyfriend and wished he was one of the boys from Ouran or Fushigi Yugi ;) I mean, they're totally hot and so dashing and heroic, what girl wouldn't want to date someone like that?!
