This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.

While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

Here's one of my latest wallpapers from the anime Loveless.
I made it in Photoshop and cleaned up the characters using the paintbrush tool and also used that to add the effects in the background as well as the airbrush tool as well.
Loveless

Thanks! ^_^

Oh and I hear that the image is coming up to small...I'm not sure how to fix that. The wallpaper is 1024X768 but photobucket keeps resizing it because I have it saved as a high quality image and it automatically shrinks it. I can assure you though that the wallpaper is very crisp and clean at full size too^^

Edit// Okay, I fixed it. The link above should bring up the full-sizer even though the pixels are slightly reduced since it's being hosted on another site. This is the link to the other one that was having the size problems:

I'm sorry guys! I'm still learning.^^

I copied and pasted the link ;P. But yeah, it looks pretty good. Too small for a wallpaper (im assuming it was unattentionally resized) but it looks clean, which is the most importand thing in making a wallpaper. THough I would like to see the whole thing (again, assuming it was resized)

You should probably remove the link to the one on photobucket, since it's too small anyway.

This is pretty neat, I love the play between the patterns on their clothes and the leaves. Off hand, only gripe is with the butterfly brushes - there are two different types being used, and that sort of spoils the effect of patterns. Try using only one style of butterfly brush - I suggest the plain white ones, without the details.

Good luck!

It's incredible, but the copyright seems a bit big. I absolutely love it...it's...I can't really express how great it is. How did you get the leaves in so perfectly? and that pattern on the characters?

The problem maybe extraction,
there are pink pieces left on that guys's hair...if you can see it^^
just another facter is that
one guy's hair is blown to the left and the other guy to the right...
which doesn't really make sense
i guess making them face each other would fix the problem

C: really nice
