As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. Do have a look at this beautiful wallpaper!

For the group thing, I thinked I will wait for the v6 but if a lot of people ask for it, I guess I have no choice but to do it^^ To commemorate the SSS rating, the svg of my bakuman wall is on my last journal entry.Got to go doing teaching. See you later~

Ye mouton knows all ;) I am still a newbie with vectoring programs. In my journal is the progess so far for my Inkscape and AI project. The main difference I noticed so far is that in AI the pentool is editable at all times, in IS it is a different tool

Ctrl is useful when you want to control the angle of the vector. Shift is for asymmetric vector. You can combine the two also. One more thing, if you start an other path while pressing shift and that a former path is selected, the two will combined.

~NosVII 15 minutes ago
I only use ctrl for zooming, backspace I knew because it is the same in PS and AI. The shift and enter I didn't know, those are useful. I ended a path using right mouse on my last node

It would be a nice group! You should go for it Mouton.

Hi, mouton, I think it's time to open the Inkscape group, questions and new users are massively arriving, even for me XD

Hey guys!

*moutonzare 21 minutes ago
You have to finish the path to edit it with the node tool. You can finish a path by closing it up or by pressing enter. You can also go back in the path by pressing backspace. I also suggest you to try pressing shift and ctrl while using the Bezier tool^^

Q mouton; Can you edit nodes while in bezier tool? Because now I finish a path first and then use the edit tool to change it.

Buying manga

I'm just curious but I was wondering that when you buy manga is it only one at a time or do you take a whole pile to the cash register? Do you buy multiple volumes of the same manga at once? Do you stick to one series at a time?

I usually get at least 2-4 manga at once. Since I'm at the bookstore, I might as well! It ain't cheap but I can't help myself. I see them and I scoop them up without thinking about the price. I've bought multiple volumes of Furuba, Peach Girl and Paradise Kiss all at once while with certain manga, I'm not as buy happy. It all depends on how much I want the series or particular volume. I've never really kept my manga buying at one series because I like the variety. I'm always discovering new series so while I end up spending more I have a lot of different choices for whatever mood I may be in that day.

Well! when I buy manga, I only buy it one at a time because of the price since costs $10 in the US. (dont know much $10 in different currency) I only buy manga more than one at a time when I have plenty of money. I also buy the magazine for anime (NewType magazine) which costs $12 thats why its hard for me to decide which one to buy especially when I don't get that much money. : (

I usualy buy 2 or 3 at a time. Sometimes two volumes of one manga and other times one of 3 different mangas. I try and only read 2 series at a time.

I usually buy only one manga at a time because my wallet doesn't allow me to get more. Once in a while when I actually have the money I'll buy two.

I usually do that also. Buying manga is very costly =/ I go to a specialty anime collectable store in Little Tokyo and they're about 8-14 dollars a pop. Lol, whenever I go to Borders, I see kids sitting down in the manga section and just reading because they don't wanna buy them =D You can sometimes see me do that also x]

I usually just buy one to three mangas at a time. Because they are quite expensive! Most of the time i just download the scans of the manga and just read it on my computer. Only if there is a manga that has really nice drawings and i like so much, ill buy it! ^^

Ohoo,I beat al of you guys,I don't buy any manga and that isn't because they are very expensive but because in my country there aren't places where you can ifnd mangas,we don't have any licensed manga, there is only one store in the whole country(in my town, the capital) and the prices are extremly high, plus they are like only at the first or second volume usually.Well I manage to read mangas thanks to the many forums on the net and at some I am even member because you can't take any manga without being a member! If there were mangas around here I would probably buy very rarely,it depends on how much money I have and also on what plans I have to do with them!

When I buy manga, I usually buy between 2-3 vol. of the same series , if possible. I do this because I read manga rather quickly and can devour a manga in 15 min. I'm just excited whenever I read one I guess...

I live in Canada too and yes, the manga are expensive although I was just in the States and they had some sales going on. I got four manga and the fifth free. Why don't they have these sales at Chapters/Indigo? I think they're usually $12.50 for Viz and almost $13 for Tokyopop. I did find a small comic bookstore that charged a little less and that's where I bought a bunch of Peach Girl. I've always wondered why they charged so much for manga. It's such a money-draining obsession.

I owe my mom quite a bit of money right now because I can't control my buying habits. I've really got to do something about that! Sometimes though, my mom does treat me to some manga. She's so nice that way.

I live in canada too... in the province of québec and i saw some mangas that went to 25$ for it.. but most of them they are 10$ or 12$

when i go buy my mangas it all depends on how much money i have.. so that means that today i only get not even one every month.. i don't have my job any more 'cus my boss wouldn't want to pay me.. she owes me 300$ imagin all the mangas i could get... and my mom she sometimes gives me some money but only when she wants to... i should go find an other job...

I usually buy at least 2 a month, most of time they are a new manga of the month. Like DeathNote or some other title.
