When i was watching the webs pages, i found this manga AIR GEAR, the manga was created by Oh!Great, the creator of Tenjo Tenge, and the art its very seem n_n

THE STORY: (thanks Wikipedia!):
Minami “Ikki” Itsuki, is a student and a delinquent. Also known as the “Unbeatable Babyface,” Ikki is the leader of the youth gang by the name of “East Side Gunz.” Upon his return home after being humiliated by a street gang of Storm Riders called the Skull Saders Ikki discovers a secret hidden from him by his benefactors, the Noyamano sisters. The sisters belong to a group of Storm Riders who go by the team name of Sleeping Forest. Keen on helping Ikki to regain his confidence and pride, they supply him with a pair of Air Trecks (abbreviated as “AT”). Ikki eventually settles his grudge with the Skull Saders, but in the process he receives more than the simple satisfaction of revenge. Determined to experience the sensation of “flight” for as long as he can, our headstrong protagonist is quickly sucked into the mysterious, yet irresistible world of Air Treck.

Apparently a child favoured by the wind, Ikki faces numerous challenges and obstacles in his journey towards his destination. Will his wings endure the trials of punishment, or will they shatter like Icarus’ imitations constructed from wax...?

the anime are really dissappointed.....but who cares..

I used to read the manga, I actually need to get back into it. Basically I found it hilarious, the drawing style was cool and I found it quite enjoyable.

Ito Ogure a.k.a Oh Great! is one of the best Mangaka (I think). Not like Tenjyo Tenge it's not too confusing (yet). I can wait for vol 16

Air gear is pretty nice, as usual with Ogure's work. I like the character designs a lot even if the fanservice is a bit intense for my tastes. but hey if you like that sort of thing, then it's perfect. On top of that, as mentioned previously, the story is pretty good and straightforwards. Classic shounen with amusing imagery and a few twists. I honestly think its high point is its characters.

Yeah...Air Gear cool. It's humorous and the art is great. I pretty much liked the whole Air Trek idea, it makes me want to buy one, too bad its not real and there's so much pollution these days.

One of the best mangas ever, the artwork, charas and the story are some of the best, i hope the new chapters came out sone, i hate to wait for them....

Only by looking who drow this manga you can tell its worth reading..! and i really enjoyed it alot. it has great humour, its not boring even for a second... and the art is great too! Air Trek idea is nice too tho a bit unrealistic... but when you read it you really feel like flying haha.

I get this manga in STIGIA FANSUB, a web of scanlations in spanish XD mmm... really? the anime not is very nice? well, the fan service, the humor, the relationship, i think they are very good ^o^ this its my first manga shounen that i readed, the shounen not is very bad, ITS SO COOL!
In the story, my favorite chara is Ikki, SO COOL THIS GUY!! *^o^*

I don't really like Ringo, I prefer Simca... she's just so cool and looks so cute with short hair.
Ikki is great too even though he's such a pervert. But I like his determination and he looks so cool when he does air track ><
