This wallpaper gives us a perfect example of how a simple manga scan can be turned into a beautiful vector. Not only did danalm trace the lineart, but he also added amazing details and a simple, yet wonderful background. Furthermore, the wallpaper shows us how the monochromatic style can make your work look really interesting.

Hello,

I created a rather simple wallpaper featuring Yuuko. Now I'd like to know what I should change or improve.

The peacock idea in the background is interesting, but in my opinion, the peacock head sticking pointing towards yuuko seems odd. Perhaps you could either flip the peacock to face the right instead or get rid of the peacock in the background. Also, maybe you could restore some of the detail to the background, it currently looks a little blurry.

The only thing i think is because of the ultra-blurry background, it looks really empty. i would make the background less blurry, and add in some text to help even out the space. other than that the simplicity is refresshing.

I personally find the green a bit overpowering in the background and would look at altering the tones to something a bit lighter at least. I'd probably actually change it to a nice shade of blue.

That's just me, though.

Thanks for your advise. The Problem with the background is that I had to use a pretty small image so I also had to blurr the picture, otherwise it would have looked terrible ^^°
Maybe I should really change the background to something different, I'll check what's possible.
