But anywho, I'm reading... <u>Babylon Rising</u> by Tim LaHaye 400 something pages or whatever..but I'll probably finish it today, I read too much ;_;

I just finished reading 'The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time' by Mark Haddon and a some weird conspiracy book called '50 Things They Don't Want You to Know About.' The conspiracy book goes a bit weird but the dog one is worth checking out if you like fiction drama.

Currently I'm working on some yummy fantasy... Deed of Paksennarion by Elizabeth Moon, recommended by a friend, and the 3rd book of George RR Martin's 'Song of Ice and Fire' series. I'm a bit behind though.
Also idly making my way through the two volumes of Panzertruppen by Thomas Jentz. I'm a WW2 history junkie.

The Sound and The Fury - William Faulkner
Their Eyes Were Watching God - Zora Hurston
I have little to no time to be reading things I want to be reading. ;_;

Currently reading <i>The Tale of Genji</i> since I recently attended a guest talk by Liza Dalby, who wrote <i>The Tale of Murasaki</i> and felt like giving it another try (I've read the abridged version by Seidensticker, but now I'm working on the unabridged one by Royall Tyler).
I'm not reading much right now, but I recently finished 'The House of Leaves,' which was excellent.

Just finished reading <u>Breakfast of Champions</u> by Kurt Vonnegut, before that was <u>The Brothers War</u> by Jeff Grubb I believe. Currently Reading <u>Shogun</u> by James Clavell.
The Vonnegut book is a bit odd, but very excellent and very humorous and provoking simultaneously. (big words!)

Currently working on <u>Good Omens</u> by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett, and <u>Battle Royale</u> by Koushun Takami. Since I'll be away from my computer for the next couple days, I might actually finish them! *shock*
Right in front of my eyes....okay...beside my comp, would be "The Financial Aspects of Corporate Governance" by Adrian Cadbury, and "High Level Finance Committee Report on Corporate Governance" by the Treasury Ministry.
Boring shit.....but it's going to be out for my Finals this Friday. :faint:

Well, I'm currently reading the Adventures of Hucklebarry Finn for school, but I'd rather be reading all those books I've been meaning to get around to, like the other 4 books of the Hitchikers guide the Galaxy series, or maybe those comic books or manga my friends lend me. And then theres the rest of the Stainless Steal Rat series, and maybe Harry Potter book 5 sometime. And when thats all done maybe I'll move on and read the rest of the appendexes of The Lord Of The Rings, because some of those are half stories of their own. And after that, who knows, maybe I'll read the Iliad and Odysse I have somewhere, or actually figure out whats going on in Ceasar which I'm supposed to be translating for class.

I'm reading <u>Leadership without Easy Answers</u> by Ronald A. Heifetz, pretty good book about the ups and downs concerning leadership in the past and how to deal with it in the present. :happy:

As for me...let's see...
I've read two of the Halo books (but not the one that covers the events from the game), and I currently am not reading much of anything. However, I did just finish reading <u>The Communist Manifesto</u>, (by Karl Marx, of course), which was required reading for my philosophy course =P

Well, right now I'm being a nerd and reading some messed up O'Reilly books on PHP, MySQL, Perl and such. Gah. I just remembered. I have to read Dante's Inferno (this is one scary literary work). Nooo! Devilish! Gah, how fitting. lol

I'm currently re-reading my fav humor/parody novels.
For example "Letuchy korabl"(Flying Ship) by A. Belyanin. These books are in Russian, so I think their titles won't mean anything to you <!--emo&;)--><img src='style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif' /><!--endemo-->
