Not only did danalm trace the lineart, but he also added amazing details and a simple, yet wonderful background. New show from Gonzo. Girls, guns, gundams. W00t! :bounce: What are your first impressions?

Wowwzers. I was completely taken in by the graphics and music. The atmosphere is pretty amazing too. It looks pretty @#$&* sweet. Gonzo's been doing great over the past few years. Whatcha guys think about this so far? Any expectations? <img src='style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='laugh.gif' />

Bubblegum Crisis, Dirty Pair, Burn Up, Gundam, Daphne, and more. +_+ Well... sorta.

I thought it was pretty good. The very first scene looks like video game boss fight. The art is just as good as well as the music.

Jo has a personality similar to mine, laid back and doesn't really care. <img src='style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/ohmy.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='ohmy.gif' />!

I just saw the first episode earlier today, and I'm really impressed. Good CGI and great animation and character design, the overall art direction is fantastic. I liked the mech design, kind of reminded of Xenogears for some reason. As for the plot, it's pretty interesting so far; it's refreshing to have a main male character in a GONZO show who's not a hotheaded mech pilot or the like, hopefully he'll be kept as a comic-relief cook.

I just hope the level of quality stays the same throughtout the show. GONZO has had some trouble in the past, but they seem to be doing better recently (I've heard Last Exile described as a 26 episode OVA in terms of quality). Bakuretsu Tenshi seems to be this year's flagship show, so hopefully it'll look as good throughtout.

So basically, big thumbs up based on episode 1.

They poured an extremely heavy load of effort into producing it. From what I've read, almost all of the GONZO Studios team worked on it.

There were so many post about how great this first ep was - here and on the animeduki forums - and i haven't been dissappointen <img src='style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' />

Fantastic first ep with a cliffhanger that makes me wanna scream ... just like ROD TV (I :heart: ROD TV)

Well, interesting first episode :bounce: Here some impressions:

Don't hate me, but those 2 girls, Meg and Jo look like Asuka and Rei <img src='style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tongue.gif' />

Meg must be some kind of super-girl using a m82 while standing, just take a look in the intro x_x At least it looks cool.

This show is like Bubblegum Crisis. 8D

My favourite scene in ep 1: Jo loading her desert eagles, detailed stuff.

Sounds a lot like a clash of Nadesico with Bubblegum Crisis though. I really like the animation and the music...and judging by the first ep, it looks like its gonna be a good series.

Im a sucker for gonzo stuff so its alittle biased..but its all good

I like the girls, I like the guns, its gonna be alot of fun.
