PS
That's really awesome. i wish i could do that.
Can you do it with any pen/pencil or you have to choose a special diameter or weight? How long would it take to get to your level of skill assuming I spend ~14hr per week in practice?
Impressive! Now the question. Does it matter much what pen you use, like choosing a pen with greater balance or what? From what I'm getting from the vid, because of the varied pens used, I'm guessing there isn't.

Well, there are these four tricks that are the very basic of all the tricks... We call them the Fundamentals. Most anybody who's seen someone pen spin has seen a Fundamental. You could pretty much do the Fundamentals with anything provided it has a decent center of balance and nothing much to block the circular motions. Number 2 pencils are really great for spinning, but most people tend to spin modded pens/markers/sign pens/etc. I myself am spinning a modded pen which is made from 4 different pens. It has REALLY good center of balance and a good amount of weight on the ends so that it carries good momentum. And it's pretty long compared to most writing pens and weighs more too.
But of course, a #2 pencil always works too. Most spinners have a personal preference but they can be generally be divided into several groups: pen spinners, pencil spinners, marker spinners (aka magic wands lol).
If you want to get to my level, you may want to spend about 5-7 months, depending on the quality of your practice sessions. I've been spinning for about 8 months and during the first 5 months I kinda wasted my time on trivial things so I didn't advance as quickly as others. I spin about 30 minutes to an hour every single day. Some days I go for several hours at a time just to get a single trick or combo down.
And yes, there are plenty of websites devoted to this kinda thing. My sig has a link to a board I frequent almost everyday. I'm like the only spinner in my area so I don't have anybody to turn to here. I turn to the Internet. *shrugs*

Wow... that's pretty cool. I just don't have the hand coordination to do anything like that.
That will be something you can do to break your time...
I wish for that kind of skill.
