For me,it's just to abstain from shopping malls altogether.You see,I am a very random person.The minute I see something I like,I'll buy.Here's a story about why I can't save.
One day,I was walking in a shopping mall.I passed toy'r us and realised the load of gashapon machines there.I was delighted and went to take a look.On closer inspection,I found my favourite character amongst the many gashapon machines.So,I started turning frantically.It took me 4 tries before I got the character I wanted.Then I stopped and turn to leave.But I realised that the character looks lonely without his girlfriend.So,I turn around,changed some more tokens and started turning.It took me another 4 turns before I got my fave character's girlfriend.
So,yea...the conclusion is,I better stay away from places with anime stuff for sale. ^^

Hoho, money is not enough forever.
save money is not very diffcult if you really wanna do it.
the ordinary way is to save money in my own account. Of course interest is so few.
the second way is to find some part-time job such as in KFC ,Mcdonald's,or pizza hutz.I used to do it when I was a student.but it really a test to your endure and Perseverance.sometimes you wanna do nothing but sleep after work. for the reason
I choose to translate the Literature for some company,the work is Relax and can do it in home but office. At first I find information by internet,bargain the salary and acquire money by transfer accounts.

I talk myself out of spending the money when im saving. Like for example, if im savin to buy some dvd's and i want to go out at the same time i'll tell myself 'the restaurant will still be there! So just hang in there and wait a few more days.....'

And then there is also the best way...stop eating at the uni! I drink water and take a few nibbles from other's stuff but wont spend money on myself ;)

I rarely get any allowance, and although I should get a job, I haven't found one. When I get money, I just let it lay there until I need it. XD Sometimes it saves up, sometimes not.
I'm a student and i save money by skipping my meals...
i usually save till it's a lot then i'll go spend them on mangas...
i'm pretty thrifty...

I save by cuttung back on anime DVDs, so many godtitiles come out every month! And with the steady job I have, I usaully look around for the best price availible at my local mall or online.

I save my money by staying single. I've found that when I'm single money stays in my wallet almsot 10x as long. Or by not going to the local cardshop to by anything. It'd probably help if I had a steady job though...T.T
Im a shopaholic so the best way for me to save money is to keep myself out of the mall!
I just don't spend my money. i keep it in my wallet and don't touch it just untill a realy need somthing. i've never realy been a spender.. i'm the kind of person that keeps my money but make other people spend for me.. lol sorry mom and grand ma... yah i always ask them to get me somthing that i want.. but now since i moving out... i stoped asking them for stuff...

After i saved enough, i can't spend so easily. I think too much at times i'm shopping. I ask myself a hundred times "Do i really need that now? Should i buy the cheaper one?..." A few days ago i nearly bought a new pc. I'm sure i need a new one, but i couldn't buy. I decided to buy just a tablet. And an mp3 player maybe...

During highschool, instead of buying lunch, I'll just bring my own lunch. That way I can save money. I love saving money~
Same goes with being a college student, I compute first my expenses of transportation every week so I can keep track of it. Then I just bring little snacks since I don't have long breaks anyway.
All of my savings, I keep it somewhere that I won't be tempted to use. Sometimes I let my mom keep it for me.

There are tons of ways to save money. Rent a DVD/videogame instead of buying it, make your own lunch at home instead of buying, and don't shop at thrifty/trendy stores, don't go out clubbing/to the movies/etc and maybe just hang out at a friend's place are just a couple of examples on how you can save. Last time I went clubbing, which was years ago, I remember spending 300 dollars on drinks for me and my friends.
