I finally decided to start a topic.
So as the title say this is about "Rihanna"
I have to say that I don't liked her first songs "Pon de Replay", "S.O.S". The first song I really liked was "Unfaithful".
R&B is not my favorite style in music, I mostly hate all the songs.
The funny thing is that I can't get enough at the moment of her newest song "Umbrella".
I totally fall in love with this song. And the video is so hot ^.^

Rihanna isn't really that talented vocally, but she has some well produced songs such as Pon the replay, S.O.S, Break it off, and Umbrella. Hmm ... most of her songs are dance hall and club bangers but unfaithful and umbrella had good emotional content. All in all I love/hate here songs. oh btw she is unbelievably cute!

Have heard her new song umbrella from her latest album called good girl gone bad? ITS AWESOME! her previous songs & albums didnt top the charts except unfaithful. but it is said that her latest album is produced by Timbaland so its gonna TOP the charts because he is an producer, especially what he did to nelly furtado & justin timberlake.
I'm not a fan of R&B too, but Rihanna's songs are nice (and she's cute!). n_n I particularly didn't liked her song "Unfaithful", it didn't make her style, I think. But I liked "Pon de Replay" and "S.O.S" (but I still prefer Soft Cell's version o.õ). In my opinion she'll keep doing her musics for a long time. Hope everything still fine. ^^
And yeah, her new song "Umbrella" is very nice! :D

Not a big fan of her music ..but that UMBRELLA song!!...i liked it but i really like the part where shes like.."umbrella ella ella ella a a a" etc...that part was so catchy...then i got her album and her song are very...happy and poppyso overall...shes pretty good and has really interesting and happy songs...but then again, not my style of music.

I hated her "Pon de Replay", when i first heard it. I still do... But i fell in love with "SOS". I think it's because i liked the 'tainted love' melody in the background. And its video totally caught my eye.
For the first time i thought i might like her.

Contary to this artist being influential and being aired all over, I have to say one thing...
SHE is ANNOYING
just introducing my feeling here, no need to hate me for it, we are all entitled to our own opinions unless you happen to be in the Ku Klux Klan, which I assume you all are not since she is not white.
I find that song Umbrella being stuck in my head, much like how Britney's Oops I did it again, that really got on my nerves, I turn the TV off for discovery channel's show on how Dolphins shit in the sea any day than listen to her...
oh well, in before flame bait.

I love her most of her music! Although she doesn't have the nicest voice...
I'm kind of indifferent. I first discovered her in Maxim's last Hot 100 list (lol slowpoke). Her looks first caught my eye and I was interested enough to pick up some of her music, but the only song I really liked was SOS. I liked it the instant I heard it and couldn't stop playing it for more than a week. (Whenever I find a song I like, I play it until I've memorized it enough to sing it backwards, much to the dismay of those around me.)
I love the video to SOS, too. The way the mirrors are reminds me a lot of BoA's "My Name" video, which was also really cool. The blatant product placement for the cell phone also makes me giggle.
Umbrella is pretty good, but I don't find it as catchy as SOS. The rap at the beginning is also rather annoying, though that's probably because I don't like rap. I love the part in the video where she's covered in that silver paint stuff, it was creepy!cool.
Unfaithful was too slow for me, I found it boring as I do with many similar slow songs. I mostly like techno/dance and alternative rock, so it's obvious why it didn't appeal to me, but the lyrics were really well written and emotional. I believe she wrote the song herself, too, which is quite admirable.
I guess, overall, I mostly like her for her looks. I would've put her at #1 on that list if I were in charge. =P

We played good girl during our road trip back to Washington, and during most of my stay in Portland. Umbrella's the song that gets stuck in my head most often, but that could be because it's the last one I heard. :)

I love rihannas music, especially her new umbrella song with Jay-Z. Plus shes a covergirl model ^^. But one thing that really annoying me about her is her face. LoLL! I know that sounds mean.. but im not trying to say that shes ugly. What im trying to say is that shes got one of those bored looks on her face. Like in all of her photoshoots and musics videos (especially the SOS one), her face is always the same.. LIke shes extremely pissed off or shes just bored and wants to go to bed.. I dunno, its probably just me who thinks this.. But artistically speaking shes very talented!

She has a (more or less) good voice, i like the beat of her songs... unfaithful is quite emotional.
I agree with the members who have said that rihanna is not a good vocalist because there was this come live concert yesterday & rihanna was invited to that concert. she sang unbrella & it was HORRIBLE!! i mean her voice kept cracking & it kept changing its frequency. i was so shocked. how come who sounds so good in cds can sound so bad in a live concert? i mean i can even sing better. then she sang my favorite song unfaithful & she really blew up that song. very bad performance!
