This wallpaper gives us a perfect example of how a simple manga scan can be turned into a beautiful vector. Not only did danalm trace the lineart, but he also added amazing details and a simple, yet wonderful background. Furthermore, the wallpaper shows us how the monochromatic style can make your work look really interesting.

Am I the only fan of anime and manga that listen's to hip hop music? And by music, I don't mean Nelly or Big Tymers. I mean hip hop like artists on Definitive Jux, Rhymesayers, Quannum, or Stones Throw. I will be pleasantly suprised if I'm not the only one around like this.

I just think it's because those two cultures don't really mix. Not to worry though, I have met the odd anime fan with same musical intrests as you.

You are not alone, brother.

I started listening to hip hop before I got dove heavily into Jpop. I'm still relatively n00b when it comes to hip hop, but I can get around. I'm more into the Asian underground scene, which would make sense since I'm a long time member of Aznraps. And no, I don't like Jin. I'm better than he is at writing songs.

I like J5, Atmosphere, Afu-Ra, Tonedeff, Lyrics Born, Jupitersciples, Sage Francis, Styles of Beyond, The Far East Movement, and many others. Just to give you a taste of what I listen to.

Nice man! You listen to some good stuff! If you listen to that, throw in some of the following:

Brother Ali
Icon The Mic King
Cunninlynguists
Eyedea
Hieroglyphics
Illogic
MF Doom
Aesop Rock

I'm sure you might have heard that stuff though.

I love all music!

Anything from German to Japanese, to Indian...I'm very international and very open minded.

I think all music is gret, I like all genres, anything from Rap to Soul. ^^

-gives you high five- Your not the only one!

Jpop and hip hop don't mix? Haha. Well, I like the mix. I also like to add in a lemon twist with some vodka.

I heard most of the artists you mentioned Event. I'm not a big fan of Aesop Rock at all. He may have the lyrics, but his voice and delivery just don't do it for me. I tried so hard to like his stuff...
For a while, I thought Brother Ali was a member of St. Lunatics lol
MF Doom is dope. I don't have enough of his stuff though.
Hieroglyphics were dope, but that new album of theirs Full Circle just plain sucks. What happened??!

To get a full dose of what I like, just check out my playlist. Request if you want too! </shameless plug>

I do some, used to do more. Yea I'm not as into the big people because alot of their stuff is meaningless. But the people that actually try to put out something with a real message, thats the good stuff.

Yea, that always happens with anything about rap or hip hop. People hate it so much. Why can't the direct their hate towards more deserving music, like Country (sorry anyone who likes country)
