Do you think the characters of tekken could take on the characters of street fighter? If they all had a fight, what character do you think would survive?
I think the Street Fighter people would win because they have powers and stuff. While the Tekken people don't really have special powers, they are just good in fighting. So Street Fighter would probably win and the winner of all would probably be Akuma. The Tekken characters wouldn't have a snowballs chance in hell, no wait! hell froze over recently anyway you know what I mean I bet a tag team between Ryu and Akuma would take them all at once and still win

If you compare the amount of damage each game calculates, Tekken delivers more. On that standpoint, Tekken will win. One combo into a juggle will turn into 50-75% life off.
On pure mechanics, Street Fighter will win. Street Fighter characters can jump higher and they can buffer normals into specials. Street Fighters also have supers whereas Tekken only has unblockables. Tekken does have an advantage of side stepping and while rising attacks, but Street Fighter has cross overs.
Tekken characters do have projectiles. Look at True Ogre, Devil, and Yoshimitsu. Yoshitmistu has a sword!

Cham Cham IS a selectable chara, in the PSone version of Samurai Shodown 4 (the port itself is crap, but Cham Cham's a good extra).

Well technically Tekken and Street Fighter both have animes based on them
It originates as a game and we're talking game mechanics/characters here so definitely in VG pad.
Back to topic - You KIDDING? Tekken vs Street Fighter? Street Fighter would annihilate Tekken and slap it all the way back to the Ming dynasty. E-Honda could wipe out most of the fellas in Tekken.
Akuma? They're going to need to worship him before they can even get near his presence. :ninja:

just to ask...who exactly is akuma?.......is he the evil version of ryu...but yea as to the question....i like street fighter better than tekken.....just cuz they have an actual anime on it :-D......if they had a anime on tekken...then id like them equally
